Well, I needed a laugh this morning, and I got one.

I went ahead and picked up a signed trading card (1977 Series 3) and an 8x10 I've wanted. Pricey, but it's not like he's getting any easier to get.

Hey! They didn't mention that I could get a "Sabrina" poster signed.

Seriously though, it's tough looking at several posters that I already have multiple sigs on knowing that I would need to start over with no chance at adding Carrie, Kenny and a couple others if I purchased one of these.

Crap like this makes me not even want a Ford auto anymore. Over $600 for a personalization. Insane.

Was lucky enough to get one vintage trading cards autograph. All the 1977 topps are sold out now
Do you know when official pix will ship this and via ?fedex/ups/usps?

Agreed
His topps autograph trading cards are commanding 2k and up even the sticker autos , so these are much "cheaper" considering ...

$650 to sign his name, another $650 to sign yours....sounds fair.

They would have pre-orders up for autographed plane pieces.

T's and C's:
We reserve the right to extend or end early any signing to best accommodate the actor's schedule. We also reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders whose name submitted in the "personalization field" may offend the actor.

This just makes me appreciate Mark and Carrie more. Obviously they never got as big, but that's a good thing. Mark is very humble and so great to fans, and I never got to meet Carrie but only have heard kind and sweet things about her.

I'm not saying Harrison needs to go on a big public tour and sign for free, but this "no send in" "double price for a few seconds extra" "private event only" BS just shows what a pr*ck he is.

Yeah I'd still like to meet him if I had a chance someplace down the road, but I would not go out of my way or pay these crazy prices.

I don't even get why his Topps cards go for so much when he's signing a ton for like $700 on a card of your choosing.

Harrison does sign for free in the right situations unless the crowd gets rowdy, then he shuts it down immediately. It's crazy "fans" that soured him on this stuff, I think that's understandable. Not everybody is Mark or Carrie, nor should they be expected to be.

Do I have a problem with his pricing? Not really because unless I hit the lottery I'm not getting one either way. If he wants to charge twice as much for personalization, good for him. My money's staying in my pocket, but I don't feel any differently about him.

Agree 100%. Just seems the entitlement generation has started to hit full force when it comes to Ford and his desire to sign. Can only imagine what they would say about Sir Alec Guinness if he were still alive. It was almost impossible to get him to sign ANYTHING Star Wars related. He hated the fact that he did that movie.

I'm really tempted to buy the card on the bottom right, but man, $680 is lot of money. I could buy quite a few other PC cards with that kind of cash. It would help if they specified how many of each card he'd sign. If 10 or less, that would at least keep the value up. But if he signs 100 of each, then it's an easy pass.

Harrison Ford charges $500 per signature for Official Pix. I heard them talking about it a couple of shows ago.

why does an arbitrary number matter? it's still the same signature at the end of the day.

It's half the price of a Topps sticker auto card, so that's a plus, and it's on-card which is another plus.

If you're buying for value, then don't. You won't be able to resell higher more of the time for stuff like this unless the actor passes away or something.

thanks grandpa

I'm not one of those entitled, everyone gets a trophy kinda people.

Just saying, pay it back to the fans a little bit when you made millions off of something. The fact he couldn't spend a few hours to do autos or photo ops at Star Wars celebration is a joke, let alone the fact he only came because of the 40th anniversary and we likely won't see him until the 50th as long as he stays out of the cockpit.

It's just like athletes. Do some signings, put on a happy face and power thru it. If I made millions and a few times a year got PAID hundreds of dollars to take a quick photo or sign some stuff you can bet I'd be there in a heartbeat.

So if he signed on the all White Han Solo Comic, you could do a lot of cut autographs with that!

When you make millions, please check back in and confirm this sentiment.

Sorry people life is not fair, not everything is suppose to be affordable to everyone. If you can't afford it, don't call people names who can afford and willing to pay for something they want with their own money, it makes you look entitled and jealous.

+1

I've seen people put $10,000 down on the blackjack table and walk away a little while later empty handed. The idea that somebody would pay Harrison Ford $650 to write thier name doesn't even make me flinch. This is coming from the guy who would be all over an Ender's Game auto...

While I understand and agree with both sides to a certain degree. I don't see how one could call anyone "entitled" because they find $1,300 for a personalized autograph to be ridiculous haha. I mean come on! That's an insane amount. Especially when half of that is an upcharge for the personalization alone.

We all know that very few celebrities sign trading cards or photos exclusively for the fans benefit. They're doing it for the money or perhaps a little of both. I think what stings is that these prices scream of the money being way more important to him than the fans. But hey, Harrison Ford is an icon. He has earned the right to take advantage of his fans. And I don't think any less of him as an actor for it. Especially because so many people are willing to pay it! So I don't think any person is acting "entitled" or out of line because they wanna complain about it. Likewise I don't think any less of someone willing to pay it. Doesn't change the fact that this is a massive money grab that has his wallet at heart more than the fans.

I wonder if topps most expensive client to sign for them is Harrison Ford?
