Benchwarmers cards....

Does anyone on here collect Benchwarmer cards? There is actually a strange story to how I got started. My girlfriend is a huge "Girls Next Door" fan and she found out that there were auto cards from them in the 2005 set. So she bugs and bugs me until I give in and get her 2 boxes from ebay (I believe they were like $30 each). Go freaking figure that the first box we open gets a Triple Auto card from all three of them. It is in my bucket under PC. Plus, I figured, if the girlfriend is going to let me collect bikini clad women on cards it would be a plus.

So basically.... I was just wondering how many/if anyone on here collect these.

i have a few but i'm more into the more "risque" juicy honey series from japan.

some of the women are nice looking.......... but some of them are butt ugly. anyone can "buy" a perfect body, but if you're ugly.... there's no changing that. i don't card how many procedures you have.

i opened some in 2006 strictly for resale. i did pretty good with it too. but now, they don't sell as well.

there WAS a decent market for these........... but not anymore. these would sell strong for months. now, it's just like any other product...... you havea small window to sell the best cards.

I want that damn Bettie Page autograph! They need to come out with Suicide Girl packs. God the memories... What I would pay to be 21 again.

Anyways, I have an autograph 8x10 from a Labor Day show from like 1990 that 2 Benchwarmers signed. It's packed up some where. I will see if I can find it later and post it. But, if I had the cash I would have opened it. I talked a guy into cracking the 2008 Signature Series and he got a 4/5 auto. I know it payed for his box.

You have to draw the line somewhere. I have two little girls. This is the line.

They will have it hard enough with all body image b.s. this generation has without their pops having this stuff sitting around.

I don't collect them. But there is 1 seller at our local monthly show that usually has those types of cards. I am missing the show this weekend but if you keep bugging me, I'll get his contact info for you next month.
