Default Marvel

At the antique store that I was at looking at the Star Trek cards, I was also looking at some marvel cards. There are 30-40 cards for 7.50.

What should I be looking for here? Thanks again fellas.

Nope, just 1 store. There are about 4 pawn shops I visit about once a week, and this antique store I just found last week I have visited a couple of times cause they have a lot of stuff to dig through.

Not this antique store. Not to mention everything is 50%-75% off this month.

I actually have a nice little schedule about the places I hit looking for antiques/collectibles/anything valuable. It varies week to week, but usually looks something like this.

Monday: Goodwill and Salvation army
Tuesday: Good pawn shop downtown, crappy pawn shop in the ghetto of town
Wednesday: Antique store about 12 miles away
Thursday: Great pawn shop in the commercial part of town
Friday: Favorite pawn shop about 6 miles away, Antique store about 12 miles away
Weekend: Garage Sales

You sound like me 5 years ago....I focused on buying/flipping old video games. I pretty much had all sale values memorized and could quickly figure margin on what was worth picking up...different nowadays though with everyone having a blackberry and all . To boot...eBay fees kept rising.

Yeah I don't have internet on my phone, so sometimes I have to take a gamble if it is something new, or I think they won't have it next time I come in. Sometimes I will call a friend I know is home and ask them to look it up for me.

I live in Austin so we have crazy stores left and right but I don't see it being worth the time flipping stuff what with the advent of computers and a step further mini handheld computers (smart phones). Best idea I see would be garage sales when you've got mom/pop/grandparents selling family items that they have no idea or care on value they just want the stuff gone.

We have around 5 Half-Price Books around here and for awhile I would go through the dollar cds and flip them on eBay, but nobody really seems to buy cds anymore they just prefer MP3 or vinyl. They do have cheap vinyl too but nothing worth flipping.
