Yeah, that would be awesome to hit. I really wish I had $$$$$$$$ because, I would love to collect WWII memorabilia, but it is all SO expensive

Well... have you ever heard of a publication of any kind other than a petition with more than a thousand signatures? 1600 unique signers means a LOT of people you have never heard of.

Thats the only part that scares me - 1600 unique signers, plus these being people from WWII to current means there could be a lot of people in that list who are far more current [ie guys from Iraq 2, etc] and since I am really a fan of the older stuff, I could see the potential for it to be very hit and miss for a person like myself

Now THAT would be awesome. I just hope the checklist has enough of the WWII guys to make it worthwhile [for me] to buy it, because the idea sounds really cool.

Gotcha. Didn't understand what you were getting at. To keep the price point somewhat reasonable, this is practically a must.

That's key. The price point is going to make all the difference.

If you had a series with autos of just Hitler, Mussolini, Churchill, Patton, and other staple names from WW2, you could pretty much charge whatever you wanted for the product...

I find it amazing that we're able to chat with the guy who makes it all happen...

Not saying you need my 2 cents, but I would give you the advise to keep your customers really close, because they will definetly tell you what they want and can give you some really great input on what they would like to see... I think you've already done that and in my opinion that's a big part of making a successful product.

I'm not a War card fan myself, but i'm a little excited about this haha

Agreed. I will probably be buying a box or 2 if it is priced at $150-200 a box.

Lol. She was absolutely convinced that his death was a conspiracy and that he was still alive. My Grandpa fought in WWII and for whatever reason she got my blood boiling, but in retrospect it was funny how stupid she was.

even if this came out at $100 a pack, I'd still buy probably 5. I know there will be around 1400+ no names. But to spend $500 to have a 5/1600 chance of pulling some of the names listed? Hell yes I'd gamble on that.

p.s. Hitler IS alive, and according to the movie young guns 2, he's kicking it with Billy the kid. I hear they always yell at Biggie and 2pac to get off their lawns though... grumpy old bastards.

Actually, this product sounds pretty cool. I won't buy any because I am not all the interested in non-sport stuff but it is a good idea for history/war buffs.

I can't believe the price. I really hope this product retains value - but I just see a lot of cut signautres of people we don't know. If anything will have value - I think it will be the base cards, and I don't think it's justifies the price point.

When you have 1,600 cuts signatures, and probably 5-10 cards will get you in the black (could be more or less) - that just screams stay away. I think singles is the best bet on this product.

With 40 Cases only - and a guaranteed complete base set - it's certainly on my short list to pick one up, if the price is right!
