I love the look of the cards and the idea behind them. As a collector, you can't go wrong given how limited this stuff is either.

I'm sure we'll know long before it's scheduled release in August.

We don't publish SRPs as well only sell to the hobby and not to retail chains.

The sale price is set by our dealers and distributors.

Once we solicit the product, I am sure you will be informed.

NOOOOO!

I have just completed a master set of America at War - Band of Brothers and don't want more WW2 related things to have to spend money on, and along comes cut autos of Hitler, Mussolini, Churchill, Patton! The mind boggles and the heart pangs.

Dr. Price. Some specifics on the preview article:
1: One auto per pack and you have 40 cases x 40 packs: This means you have 1600 autographs in the product or is that a mistake and it's one auto per CASE? If you indeed have 1600 autos, would it be correct to assume the majority of these will be from within the last 20 years?

2: ONE base card per pack which means one has to buy a case of 40 packs to get most of the base cards, and then get the 8 case toppers separately... But there are 40 cases which means 5 sets of the top 8 base cards?
Edit: thinking about this, I realize it's probably ALL 8 case toppers in each case which means a case contains all 48 base cards.

3: Why are the cards pictured in the article numbered out of different totals, 3/30, 5/40, 01/01, when they should all be out of 40 or 48?

4: Is Blowout considered to be a Famous Fabrics distributor or dealer since they have older FF products for sale?

The cards pictured are just mock-ups.

When I attended the Las Vegas Summit a couple of weeks ago, a number of dealers suggested a better way of packing out the cards, a way that makes collecting a master set easier. It was a good idea so it agreed with it.

The mock-ups were not changed. Good catch by you, they should be changed so other collectors are not confused, I will work on it.

If a collector chooses to buy a master case, they are guaranteed a complete base card set. 40 different cards in the packs and 8 different case toppers.

Hope this helps and thanks for your keen observation.

Brian Price

PS: All indications are that Blowout will be distributing this product as they have distributed Famous Fabrics in the past.

That's fantastic!

So if someone purchased a master case and kept it sealed, not only would they have 2.5% of the entire production run, they would have a complete set some lucky collector in the future could open and see for the first time.

I love it when a product is made for the collector.

This seems like a pretty important question. Didn't see an answer to it.

Wow. Awesome. I am a huge history buff and WWI and II 'fan' and would love a shot at some of the autos you listed above in an earlier post.

While I am not a buyer of your baseball or SK products, count me in for this one for sure.

Question - Could you answer the auto seeding question when you get a chance?

if there is one cut per box, i have a feeling it's going to be priced out of most "collectors" means......... hopefully not. i hope there are a ton of WWII cuts.

i also hope there is a complete checklist of cuts released before........ release.

Sorry for the delay in responding, yesterday was a travel day for me and didn't have access to internet for most of the day.

I will try and respond to most of the questions;

1. There is one autograph and one base card per pack;

2. There are 1,600 packs (so 1,600 1/1 autographs and 1600 base cards);

3. Many of the autographs are from WWII;

4. A complete checklist of autographs will be available prior to release date;

Hope this helps.

I don't think I have been as excited about a product as I am about this one. Thank you Dr. Price for making this product. I certainly hope that this is as good when I get to open some of it as it is in my head at this moment.

I agree and disagree. From a purely selfish viewpoint, I would want all the nice, juicy WW2 autos to add to my Band of Brothers master set. But, I have a feeling this series will remain way out of my price point.

So, are these all cut autos, or are there some regular autos from those who are still alive and well?

This goes back to the article in the first post:

Each pack will also contain a Horrors of War cut signature card.

A cut signature means that the signature is not on a label nor is it on the card.

It is on a piece of paper imbedded into the card. The signer could still be alive.

There is only one cut of any individual.

Hope this helps.

Any kind of pricing available for this? I know you don't give MSRP, but can we get an expected range?

I think its awesome. Although, obviously this is sounding like a very expensive product. Perhaps not though - while there will be guys like Hitler, Saddam, Churchill, etc inserted into this, I imagine there will be plenty of "no names" added as well. He mentioned cuts will be from both living and dead people, so ...

Curious what you mean... sounds pretty straightforward to me.

And that Hitler auto is going to be worth some big $$$$$$$$$$$! There are some insanely wealthy Nazi memorabilia collectors out there.
