For the collectors who really like a challenge, some of the artists are doing multi-card scenes, 2,3,4 and evey 9 sketch card scenes that make 1 giant picture. Here's one of the 9 card panels by Michael Duron. Each card has it's own picture too so you won't be stuck with just a Hiro's left elbow sketch:

Incarnadine,
First of all... Thanks! You've been a great source of information on the Heroes Set. That's especially good for a non-sports beginner like me.

Secondly... Is the non-sports update site the biggest trading site for cards like Heroes, LOTR, Indiana Jones, etc.? I know we'll be talking here but that seems to be the biggest resource.

Best Always,
Vinny

I thought Ali Larter was not going to be an Auto? In the scan Incarnite provided it looks like her on the Auto sheet.
Can't wait till I get my cases. I hope it is worth it.

For non sports cards in general nonsportupdate is the best site but for anything to do with sketch cards the Scoundrel Art Community board is by far the best, literally dozens of the artists who actually do the sketch cards post there so it's the place where you will first hear about new sketch card sets and the artists post their sketches there as soon as they get the ok and they'll often post the numbers they did so you know right away when you pull a sketch if it's 1 of a thousand or one of just 25 done by the artist.

I'm sure they had cards ready to go for every major cast member long before they agreed to sign, these samples were out months before Hayden agreed to sign. I can't say if Ali will or won't be a signer but with just over a week until release and no word it seems unlikely.

Cases seem to be creeping up on eBay. D******Y is at it again selling at 5% above cost but when that weasel runs out these should be $400 a case.

I think those second 2 may pull in some pretty good $$.
I am curious to see just how high these sketch cards sell on ebay. I was hoping some would end before I get my cases but I guess that is not going to happen.
I will have 5 cases tomorrow morning.

Ok, this is just too freaking cool. As part of their payment the artists get to request 6 specific cards to be returned to them that they can keep, sell or whatever (TOPPS only pays them $1.50 per sketch so this is actually the big part of their payment). This is one of Mark McHaley's cards, he had Hayden Panettiere sign 3 of his returned cards, one of which she got to keep. This will sell for a ton:
