Has anyone seen any insertion rates for this product yet? I see people preselling 90 card base sets on eBay for $10 already...

My understanding is that it's "suppose" to be 1 insert per box ...
either a sketch card , costume card or autograph card ...

I get most of my information from the " nonsportupdate "website --- go there and go to discussion boards (card talk) and then to " news and rumors" and they have a long thread on the Heroes set there ...

Ron, that's about the same I have seen too without any real definite answer. Have you seen anything regarding the foil cards?

I guess I should have noted that those are all hobby only inserts ...

Retail will have lenticular cards and foil cards as insert according to the Topps website ...
no odds yet that I know of ...

If they keep adding autos I think the hobby boxes could really take off since Heroes has a ever increasing fanbase and this looks like a very anticipated release ...
I've heard rumblings about it being delayed until Nov but who knows ...
As long as it stays limited I'll be very happy ...

I hate when cards aren't in hobby but they are in retail (lenticular). But I guess if the retail doesn't have autos that might make up for it.

I am waffling on getting some of this too and was hoping for some sort of odds/ratio type info. I think I saw on the checklist on blowout that there are some 3000 sketch cards.

Base sets will probably be worthless so the money will be in the autos and sketches I think.

i heard earlier today that the release was pushed back to November 21st.

I read a few of the pages of the thread in question. It seems that this is going to be a highly anticipated release. A delay in release may be a good thing to further the hype. I hope by release I won't have to even open my boxes just flip for a quick profit.

me too scottiff.... i got in for 3 cases at a REALLY nice price. i'm hoping they're up around $60-$70/ box by release.

Looks like the street date for this is now December 5th according to DealerNet (via the NonSportUpdate forum).
