Default What Box should I get?

I want to buy one of these boxes of star wars cards but dont know which one to buy. ESB 3D (1 sketch and maybe an auto per box) or ATOC widevision (1 auto)

If you are buying for yourself, I would go with ESB 3D. If you are hoping to flip the results, stay far away from the widevision format as they do not sell for anywhere near what standard size cards go for.

I thought ESB 3d was widevision? and are there any other products I should consider as well?

I would probably open a box of Galaxy 5 nice artwork on the base set, awesome inserts, and real good quality sketches with a chance of hitting an auto or a die cut sketch.

Yes, ESB 3D is widevision if you want to open a widevision product open Clone Wars Widevision boxes one of the best sketch quality products that I have ever seen next to Galaxy 6.

Clone Wars + Widevision = financial ruin.

Serriously, one of the major reasons that Topps is not even looking to produce another Clone Wars set (as per Dave Waldeck's post several months ago) is because it just doesn't sell when the artists are crammed into a particular style.

Having busted 2 cases of this product and having to flip most of the sketches for next to nothing, I am wondering where your "best sketch quality" comment comes from. The overall art in ESB 3D I thought was better (another 2 cases) and you have a punchers chance of hitting an auto (I was stoked to have pulled a Fisher and flipped it for $1200 before too much product was broken) not to mention the set looks awsome.

At the end of the day, the best products reflect it in their current price. You usually don't see too many steals in Star Wars boxes after the product hits. You just need to figure out what you are looking out of in a box. Perhaps waiting for a box of Galaxy 7 could be the right idea although I wouldn't get too crazy as I expect the print run to be much higher than it was for Galaxy 6, thus giving you hits much closer to stated odds.

I really want to order high on Galaxy 7 - however I think everyone else in the world does too... So I may pass on this one, then again it all depends on the price I'm quoted.

As far as I know, there is no word on the street yet except that artists are working on sketches now. From word of mouth, it seems that the Sketchagraphs will return in the set.
