I'm shocked to see what my 2 binders went for! I bought a few binders from the $30-$60 range when they first came out. I definitely made a decent profit from my case and have my completed mini master set!

I'll tell you this much, if you have ANYTHING related to Walking Dead NOW is the time to sell it. Comics I couldn't give away a month ago are going to for CRAZY money, as well as all my Walking Dead autos/relics have sold extremely well. Strike while the fire is hot if you want to maximize return on anything, now is the time IMHO.

While i do agree with you i also think that the comics will continue to go higher and higher. it seems like people are staring to get in on the hype and now the comics are exploding. by season 3 start i expect to see all the comics up another 50% we shall see though i am still buying them til this very moment and there are ALOT of key issues that will go crazy soon that most people dont know yet. but it seems like some people are starting to realise some of these key books cause the prices are going up daily.

Valid points Mr. Chipz. I've been looking to thin out my modern stuff, so this bump is helping me out a lot

i know nothing about comics but regarding trading cards this could go either way - past trends would back you up, but this reminds me a bit of the first topps ufc product that just kept going higher and higher and higher due to supply and demand. i think once season 2 trading cards come out, and season 3 debuts, these will shoot up again to even higher levels.

I'm getting more than that. I've not sold anything 80+ for less than $10 a copy lately. So yeah, it keeps climbing. I'm gonna be out of stock very soon, which is fine with me. This stuff has been sitting in boxes for ages and I love when I can actually get a little return on my tiny speculation experiments. This one just happened to pay off.

Could be Tim, but I'm not a greedy person. If I can get out of something and make ANY profit, I'm happy man. With comics, there's almost always another property/issue, title that comes out and will take over as king of the hill. I just hope I have those issues when it happens.

Yeah, and hindsight is always 20/20. You could have lost your ass too. Which happens more often? With me, it's losing my ass. I'm assless right now. If you can find it in your heart, please donate to the "Buy Indy an Ass" foundation.

USPS won't let me send hazardous materials. I'd imagine opening that box would produce a stink that would rattle your ancestors.

Very nice.

I'm thinking of selling the packs I have when they come in... I've seen 3, 4 and 5 packs sell at a time and I might as well see what I can get. People are at least doubling their cost on them so why not right?

That's my thinking at least.

Back to the OP though... do you think they'd release the missing A3 & A4 in S2 to complete the S1 set or just include them for the S2 set and just leave those gaps?

I'm the comic guy around here, if you guys have any questions. I'm really glad to see the comic story line, and title in general do so well. I haven't met Kirkman, but have talked to Tony Moore quite a few times at the cons. And it really does help alot of other associated titles like "Chew" do well, and expand.

In hindsight I shouldn't have broken open my case, but I really just wanted a set for myself and really got nice distribution of relics, and only one autograph duplicate for the full set. And yes, getting back to the OP, I hope they do release the A3 and A4 that were missing somehow. I'd also like to see 1-2 more big redemption cards. Of course I never have luck opening them tho lol.

Ok, quick question.

Many of you mentioned buying 'dealer' cases or something similar for Season 1 trading cards.

Where did you get these from and how much were they? I'm trying to plan around Season 2 for when it eventually gets rolling and wanted to know how much I should plan for $$$ wise and the best place I should go to get one.

I'm really excited to be on board for the next wave of madness... I missed the boat on S1 and wish I would have known.

Does anyone know specifically when S1 was released? As in what month it was?

Most can probably tell that I'm impatient for the S2 set to kick off... but I'm really interested in lining my ducks up in a row this time.

Season 1 was released 12/16/11. The promo that is out right now from Cryptozoic that says anything about a Summer 2012 release is The Walking Dead Comic Trading Cards from the first 90 issues of the comic books. So who know when Season 2 will be released if the summer release is going to be a comic version...

Just a guess, but perhaps in Dec again.

Yes, I would think that it would be a regular thing every December.

I have absolutely NO interest in the Comic Book set.
