Thinking of getting another case myself. I need to sell all the base sets and parallels still tho. Hopefully, the price will drop some by then.

I wonder if most artists check ebay frequently to see how much their cards sell for or how many have sold etc.

Good question! But since Mars Attacks Heritage was my first sketch card gig, I have no idea what other sketch card artists normally do. I only know that I checked because I'm naturally curious, because I've been an off-and-on collector of pop culture stuff since the 1960s, and because there are a some of the sketch cards I drew and had to turn in that I wouldn't mind owning myself!

About 18 of my cards have popped up on eBay so far, and I bid on two of them, but lost. One, which I really, REALLY liked (the one where the soldier is beating the snot out of the Martian), was put up as a "buy it now" for $59.99 and was gone before I ever even saw it on sale.

Hi Russ, you did some great sketches for the series. I really like your drawing style and the effort you put into the sketches. I purchased the top left sketch you posted (soldier fighting the martian) and love it.

Glad it went to a good home! There's only one card for that variation, and you got it!

Thanks for the kind words! As I mentioned, I've been a fan of the cards for 50 years, so I guess it's only natural I'm a bit of a 1962 card set purist.

I hope to see a few more of yours pop up!

I have noticed on Ebay a slow down of new great sketches. Obviously after the initial rip a ton were listed and we had a nice fresh supply to chose from. But now it seems we gotta pounce early on a new BIN etc. I wonder if that will help values or not. No doubt that there is ton to still be ripped though and more top sketches will be known.

7th box of the case, wow! Had to post this right away. Will finish and do a recap thread. First, know who the artist is? I googled Luis but nothing.

My guess is that the signature on the left is "Geo" for George Freeman. The one on the right is probably a very stylized "Cebollero" for John Cebollero.

I'd have to see the art to be more certain.

Jacob Chabot?

I'm guessing... if you Google some of his art and compare the styles, you may be able to tell.

Yeah man. Going to sell some sets and some sketches, keeping this one, and grab another case!

I found one on eBay that said the artist was George Davis on the GEO one, but I don't see George Davis on the Topps list of artists.

Here is a scan of the front and backs.

Thanks for your help!

Anybody figure this one out yet? Just got one too, can't figure it out. It's the only one out of 8 that I have not been able to identify either by the net or with answers here on the forum.

I think I found this one. See eBay auction #170877264899. It says Kevin Bloomfield.

The signature on the right is definitely John Cebollero's. Here's a sketch he did elsewhere, complete with signature:

The sketch on the left I simply can't tell if it's Freeman or not.
