the one problem i have with this product is the limited source material

i could see alot of crappy sketches .... see indy crystal skull

Actually, the source material is as limited as the artist's imagination. Just draw Aliens killing people and blowing stuff up. As long as you stay away from stuff in the awful movie, the possibilities are really endless.

The problem with Crystal Skull is we only had about 35 images from the movie we were to work from. We couldn't deviate much because we didn't know anything beyond what we were given.

Not to mention that Topps has done a bit since the Indy sets to tighten up quality control. While not every sketch will be a "winner", you should not have 3,000+ cards from ANYONE any more.

This set looks pretty neat. Depending on price I think I'll buy at least a box and put the set together.

The original Mars Attacks set really threw parents for a loop when they came out, in fact I think they tried to ban them. This set looks like a nice set, if not too expensive I'll probably do a box.

Sometime in July.

Did they mention anything about parallels? Being that it is Heritage you would think there would be a chrome and chrome refractor parallel of the base set.

Gold border - TBD

Plus printing plates and lenticulars... I'm all over this one.

If they got Sam Keith to do sketch cards I'd buy 50 cases of this stuff. I'm thinking that will be used for the comics.

Yeah, that series was his breakout run.

I don't know what he's up to any more. He keeps a low profile.

I can't wait for these cards to be released; those sketches are beautiful. The Mars Attacks movie was actually one of my favorites as a child. I'm in for a few boxes!

Ill be doing a limited 25 sketches for this set.

Any idea on srp?

Looks awesome, might have to try and track down a box.
