Wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy new year I will start posting my stuff tomorrow. Starting with the sketches I got from the 3 cases of S1 I got last year.. (all bloody walkers) and loved opening and collecting it so much I got 4 cases of S2. Very hard to find in Australia so had to pay a fortune on ebay and with shipping and customs you dont want to know ! Looking forward to sharing and hearing your thoughts.

The last two seasons I have bought boxes I was lucky to get a sketch card and good autos every season. Saving up and interested in buying about 3 cases of season 3 boxes
when they become available for preorder two to break one to flip and sell when value goes up. My question is who or what sites have best case prices available for preorder?

Yeah I heard that before about this site. Solarfly has good prices although they had some communication issues some people on this forum were disappointed. Other people on this forum defended them. I have a local card shop owner that said he can order me a case from one of his distributers at a good price.

I personally don't think we will see much pre-selling going on for Season 3 because of how the pre-sells for Season 2 went. Really the only sites that had cheap pre-sells up were comic book or non-sports sites that weren't prepared for the amount of orders they received. I don't think those sites will make the mistake of listing their cases next year at very low prices.

For example, look at Solarfly, all of their Cryptozoic case pre-sells for every product are at the exact same price. Because they are marking them up a certain % from factory cost. On 95% of products, I think they can get all they want at factory cost, and that's why they price them that way. However, they weren't able to get enough Walking Dead at factory cost, and they had to cut orders. End result, they had a lot of pissed off customers, even though they probably lost money on their pre-sells (since they had to buy enough cases at market price to complete their orders). Do you really think they will make the same mistake next year?

I agree to an extent. There will be plenty of places accepting pre-orders at low prices but there won't be too many that will fulfill your entire order. For example, I ordered two S2 boxes from Sci-Fi Genre/Atomic Empire in JULY, and after getting the run around I was told they will only be able to send me one of my boxes (which I just got today... another Glenn auto). That will be the last time I ever order from that place.

I could understand my order being cut if I tried to order multiple cases but I ordered 2 SINGLE BOXES way back in July when they first put up pre-orders. I highly doubt they were only able to spare one of my two boxes as I was a super early order. They just held $72 of mine interest free for five months. I was lucky I only placed an order for two with them and bought the most from DA for more money per box, but I'd much rather do that and know I will get my order.

So even if you find pre-orders for S3, you should really try to do your homework because there's a good chance your order won't be guaranteed. I don't have any connections with distributors so I will have to continue to go through the main 3 online retailers I use. Don't want to go through that situation again.

Yeah I think my best bet is to order cases from my local card shop owner who can order cases for me from his distributers at a good price that I can afford. Thanks for input and everybody have a happy new year. Don't drink too much tonight!

One of the nicest sketches to show up on ebay so far. I didn't think it sold, did you get the seller to make a deal off ebay? Congrats on the add to your collection!

If anyone has an extra of these two cards, please let me know: Andrea A13 Autograph and Sophia's (Walker) Pants M20. I would prefer trade. I have lots of duplicates left over from my case just let me know what you're looking for! I'm going to post in the trade section as soon as I go through my set and write down exactly what I'm missing.

Yep, I paid $1650 for a case off of eBay and not a sketch card in the case :S every box had regulation 2 relic 1 auto = not a happy aussie camper

At least they say they are retail in the title but still are trying to pass them off in a hobby box as sealed packs but open box...

So, I just had an ebayer flake on me for a master set. Should I out him here?? Totally not cool in my book to do this on such a huge sale. And no, it wasn't the ebayer for the first set. That went without a hitch.
