I have some base sets of season 2 that's short a few cards.

1 base missing a couple
1 base missing like 4-5
1 base missing about 15 or so

I'd like to get rid of them so you can take one or the whole lot if you want. Cheap prices

Well finally offloaded some of my extras... had 8 shadowboxes, 2 autos, 6 wardrobes (4 walkers) and a bunch of extras I setup a buddy with that's trying to get his collection rounded off.

Now I just need to get rid of the 9 base sets that I have.

So I recently received a Season 1 Daryl autograph in a very nice magnetic holder, my first one actually. And I started to think how much more well protected the card seemed rather than keeping it in a regular top loader, which I've been doing with all my cards. So I have two questions for you all. Would you all recommend using a magnetic holder over a top loader for storing autos & wardrobes. And number two, what point size magnetic holder would you guys recommend for autos and for wardrobes? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I personally would not put them in magnetic holders...not worth the cost! I just keep them in my 9 page Ultra Pro sheet in the binder...

Well the thing is, I currently have both Season 1 and Season 2. Over 120 cards in total and both nearly complete sets with top of line variants. I'm a collector by heart so I wouldn't sell my collections but I figured I'd check out the values which after carefully analyzing closed auctions on eBay, I came to a total of $4300. That in itself makes me want to ensure that these cards stay in the best condition for the years to come. I invested a lot of money into them and would hate if the day ever came when I didn't keep them well stored enough and one or more somehow got damaged. That's what got me into thinking about these magnetic holders.

magnetic holders look and feel a lot nicer than toploaders. toploaders though, are better for securing your card as magnetic holders sometimes will allow the card to move around in its case.

So you would say that a top loader stores cards better and is more reliable than a magnetic holder? I just want what's best to protect my cards.

If you know how to store a top loader it can be just as secure! Penny sleeve, top loader, all in a team bag. Magnetic holders are nice but I only have my high end stuff in those or in BGS/PSA slabs.

I also have a full master set to S1 (except the redemptions) and those are just stored in my binder...yes it's a lot of $$$ to store in binders but so are any old vintage baseball cards, all those are stored in binders as well...we're talking about full sets.

You guys are really over-analyzing this holder discussion.

Your under-analysis is really contributing to the over-analysis.

Anyone know what a Master set for Season 2 is going for these days?
I couldn't find any completed sales on eBay for one.
Might need to move mine.
Base set, all insert sets, wardrobe set, dual wardrobe set, autograph set, binder. No redemptions or sketch cards.

You would make much more if you broke it up and sold each card individually.

Yeah I know. That's just alot of work and it would probably take awhile to sell everything.

What do you expect from someone who has no feedback as a seller and a whopping 1 feedback on a $0.99 sports card?

Very good deal if the sale goes through. The seller didn't do himself any favors with the poor title though.
