Not on release day but once it's sold out and the prices of this autograph line-up hit their peak. This will be one of the most sought after sets the way things are looking.
S1 boxes were hitting 250 and look at that line-up compared to this. Speaking of Laurie Holden, how about a3/a4 Cryptozoic? Last edited by SerialKilnWalkr; 10-06-2012 at 07:12 PM. |

i do agree in time it could get to those levels, but not after a month - there is more of this out there than people think. there is more of this than season 1. and it took quite a while for S1 to dry up. the distributors and some of the high-end dealers are hoarding this in my opinion. Demand will be so strong and the product itself will be so strong as well that the prices will never come below where they are at, but i don't see much increase either until it dries up, which i think will take longer you guys think.

I don't think UD could ever make a product as well as Crypto. It is all about the cash grap. Same with Rittenhouse. They were given a golden opportunity with Game of Thrones and just ruined it because of greed. If Game of Thrones would have had wardrobe cards and they kept production to 7000 boxes just think how awesome it would have been.

UD is not as bad as everyone likes to think or pile on. I made big money off Avengers and did ok with MB 1 and 2. Crypto has its fair share of losers too. But for sure C is near the top and Rittenhouse is dead last. |

I agree on Upper Deck not being that bad. I had a lot of fun with their Avengers set this year, probably one of my favorite products with a really awesome base set. They may not have been able to get the top actors to sign but I don't think that would have been possible. Too many big names in that movie. But the relics were awesome, the autographs they did have were good, and like I said, the base was great.

HBO is incredibly stingy with their wardrobe. They won't give anything away. We are lucky there is even a GoT / True Blood set... After the Inkworks Sopranos set I didn't think they would ever license out another property.
Also to Tim who said there is a lot more of this than Season 1, I know a bunch of dealers/distributors and they all got their exact order or season 1. No more, so unless crypto is printing more and sitting on it themselves, I don't know where it would be going. From what I have heard the print run is exactly the same |

Blowout marked these bad boys up to $160 a box or $1,900 a case. Who would've thought a few years ago that this show would take off like this? Almost didn't even get off the ground to start. Good for them, one of the few quality shows on TV that I can watch week to week.

For BO to mark these up so fast to $1900 a case tells us a few things. 1. Cases are drying up and/or 2. they found out more information on the last few auto's and/or info on a super chase. Either way the ground was set with Season 1 and it looks like the sequel will be better than the first, which doesn't happen very often.
