Anyone want to venture a guess as to the sale value of a Season 2 "Master Set"

Base Set
Shadowbox Set (9)
Puzzle and Bios sets (9 each)
All Autos (14)
All Wardrobe (35/36) - missing Binder Exclusive but includes all 3 Duals

Thoughts? $3000?

$2500-2750 for S2. Surprised S1 isn't selling for around $2000 but maybe it will after the two Holden's are added.

Are these boxes worth buying or do you get crapped on like most Football products and better off buying singles?? Wife and I love the show, thinking this might be a way to get her liking the hobby a bit,lol.

They're certainly worth buying. I'm addicted to The Walking Dead ever since I saw the first episode when it originally premiered. When I found out about these card last year...I didn't know what to expect. I got a box of Season 1 trading cards for Christmas. Excited, I opened that box and pulled a Glenn auto, Glenn wardrobe (3 color relic) and a Walker wardrobe. From that point on...I was hooked. I went on to buy many more boxes, even a case of the product.

This year, I have an entire case paid off and can't wait to receive it. As far as your question goes. You are definitely better off buying them by the box as you are guaranteed hits, like any card product, but mind you they aren't going to be "cheap". This particular series is absolutely JAM PACKED with top of the line signers, many wardrobes to collect and there are even 2 redemptions. Also, check your local Target and Walmart on December 11th as these will be released for the first time, in-stores, on that date. Odds will obviously be harder to pull an auto or a relic since it's retail, but I definitely recommend trying that out as will I.

I'm gonna keep a lookout for retail boxes where I live too... I pulled a Glenn auto (ended up being the only one I pulled, got 3 of them originally lol.)

I hope to get a decent set of hits with 6 boxes... I wish I could have had a full case but these things happen. Not planning on getting a redemption but hope that I can get a sketch card.

You never know what could happen man, with 6 boxes that is a 50/50 chance of a sketch.

Redemption wise if there are 7000 boxes and 50 redemptions the odds are 1 redemption in every 11.66 cases so if you get 6 boxes that is 1 in 23.33 chance so its an ok possibility

No way of knowing until Cryptozoic puts it up on their site or announces it via facebook.

is Crypto still going to put more boxes on their website, i thought they're would be another wave before December. Im still hopeful they will put up binders as well

According to Miranda there is supposed to be another wave of boxes. No word on the Binders.

Breakdown of the sketches shown in this thread so far:

69 of 256 are walkers.
67 of 256 are Rick.
20 of 256 are Lori.
16 of 256 are Dale.
16 of 256 are Shane.
13 of 256 are Glenn.
11 of 256 are Carl.
8 of 256 are Andrea.

Oh, I"m not surprised at all either. These are very very good prices for cases.

The 10 box case is a mistake, but could cause problems for the buyer if the seller now takes two boxes out. Jeesh.
