Thanks to the boardie who pointed this out.
I use the term as he's going to get punishment cast quickly upon him. Hosed = screwed.

No, because when the person dies, they can't sign any longer. When a charachter on a show dies, you can still have autos "in rememberence" or in a non-season related set.

I have a list (well partial list) of who the artists are allowed to draw, their sketch count, how many AP's each of them got, and even a surprise for those who bought an AP from certain artist.

Around a 7,000 box run is about 583.3 cases so I would put the sketch around 584-600, assuming there will be some inserted into retail.

I would guess that retail won't have sketches. However, Cryptozoic does give away hits including sketches at the various comic cons and through their NPN program. So I would guess 650-750 sketches.

To be completely honest I think the field will still be as diverse as it was in the past, to be fair not all sketches are created equal, and while we've seen a lot of high end ones there's always a few that may not have been part of the release and just privately commissioned too. I think we'll see a wider range of $150-500. Some people will list it higher, but that doesn't mean they'll sell.

I have 110 boxes coming to me from a bunch of different places.
I do not plan to bust much. I need a product like this every once in a while to make up for the crap Sports products that come out and tank.
I wish everyone luck and hope there are some great sketch cards pulled on here.

Wow... 110 boxes. That's insane.
Just curious, if you don't plan on busting much what are you doing with the boxes?

This product has already hit a lot of the distributors and dealers. Stinks the official street day is still so far away! Would love to share what I have seen so far.

You can share, just can't sell.

I agree, but I want to be sure I can even talk about it before posting anything. I don't want to get my distributor in trouble.

EDIT --------

I am going to e-mail Crypto and ask, if they say it is ok to talk about it then I will post.

Tried using their submit a ticket feature on their site but my request isn't going through. Anyone have the direct e-mail for Miranda or anyone at customer service?

They really shouldn't have mailed it out early. I commend them for doing so but, ya know, human nature takes over.

Man, I can't believe stuff is being opened a week before release, and we all have to wait.

Does anyone know the offical rules with release sale dates? Boxes and base sets are up on eBay to buy. Do those not count? What about putting stuff up for auction? If you put something up for auction today with a 7-day auction technically it wouldn't "sell" until 12/11.
Just curious.....

Boxes are ok as well as cases as pre-sale, but nothing else should be up, even base sets from what I have been told, also no, the auction thing doesn't work. Nothing is supposed to be up for sale before street date.

It always makes it tough. I think I had Smallville a week before it went live. It was great because I could break it and do all kinds of sorting and have it ready in my Turbolister with plenty of time to spare... But some people don't pay attention to the street date and it can be tough.

There's a few Non-Sport manufactures that ship before street date, and they always tell you not to list before the given time. Normally people listen, because for the most part - they don't mess around.

The whole street date thing is dumb to begin with. Who cares from a collectors stand point. I see the sellers whining because first listed typically brings the most. As a collector thou the sooner the better. I always laugh when I see people getting upset over it. Theres more things in life to worry about then someone opening and selling product early.
