have 18 cases and all the incentives coming to me. think it will be a solid set

screamingdc 08-08-2012 12:26 AM

i'll be looking to pick up the autos that i want as singles. may try a box for fun, and i think it'll sell real well. we'll see early on who the SP autos are as they pretty much got a lot of the main cast to sign.

GameCards2you 08-08-2012 04:20 AM

nera20 hey where did you pick up the case with the incentives added for such a great deal?

Incarnadine 08-08-2012 09:26 AM

I have a case coming, my first case of anything in quite a while. The autograph checklist is pretty solid, even most of the lesser names are pretty good.
As for which will be SP's, it is easy to make an educated guess, althere are always 1 or 2 surprises.

I'd say the Very Limited autos will be:

Anna Paquin
Stephen Moyer
Deborah Ann Woll (interesting to note she is the only auto in the set that nobody has pre sold on ebay)

Limited Autos:

Jim Parrack
Michelle Forbes
Nelsan Ellis
Carrie Preston

Most of the rest could go as either limited or commons, even those that have 2 versions might end up being Limited, although the combined number of the 2 versions would make them commons.

I agree this looks to be a very solid product and I think the base parallels will add a little value to the case, along with the shadow box cards. The autograph checklist is only missing Tara, Sam, and Jason Stackhouse for notable characters on the show. Although overall they did a very good job in putting a solid checklist together. I think most autographs will be $15 to $20 dollar minimum sells at the least. I am looking forward to breaking my case next week when it comes in.

I found someone on ebay selling it for a great price, I think the eric autograph will be a $200 plus dollar card.

Incarnadine 08-09-2012 12:43 AM

Rittenhouse has put up the designations for the autographs now, some surprises indeed.

EXTREMELY LIMITED

Anna Paquin
Stephen Moyer
Michelle Forbes (the biggest surprise to me)

Very Limited

Todd Lowe
Allan Hyde
Lizzy Caplan (regular)
Lizzy Caplan (Full Bleed)
Brit Morgan (regular)
Grant Bowler

Every other card is Limited, except for the Melissa Rauch, which seems to be the only "common" in the set.

If these numbers are correct this should make this set go up in price. I wonder how many cases are actually being made if there are so many limited autos.

It should be easy to figure out a rough range.

At the high end:

3X EL = 600
6X VL = 1800
28X L = 14000
1X C = 600

Total = 17000 autos, or 8500 boxes

On the low end:

3X EL = 300
6X VL = 1200
28X L = 8400
1X C = 500

Total = 10400 autos, or 5200 boxes

At a guess I'll say around 7000 boxes.

That isn't many cases if that is correct. That would make this a pretty limited product. Which will only help the values. That puts it at 584 cases if its 7000 boxes, meaning if this number stands true the Eric 6 case incentive card would be limited to 97 copies, and the Pam 3 case incentive card would be limited to 194 cards. The Eric card will be in high demand.

It's actually pretty standard, RA products generally fall in the 6000-8000 box range, even the extremely popular Game of Thrones was only 9000 boxes, and was only that high due to a late increase in production.

I'm not sure if this is still the case, but when I use to order RA products in the past the boxes were actually serial numbered so you knew the production run.

Well the cards look nice, and the base parallels, and shadow box cards should add extra value to box rips along with the two autographs per box. I am kinda glad there aren't relics (personally I don't care for relics just my opinion though I would rather autographs).

jubei777 08-09-2012 11:17 AM

nice! looking forward to getting Deborah at a good price since she's not a super limited auto.

Bryanjs14 08-09-2012 11:25 AM

She will still be a $100 card easily just based on how much she is featured on the show, and her great looks alone

She is going to sell decent though she is very popular

I agree it may even be higher then that

Great checklist I think its going to be a fun rip

nera20 08-12-2012 04:53 PM

This should be out this week hopefully its as nice as it looks

Artiodactyla 08-12-2012 09:36 PM

I think not having Eric as a pullable auto is going to hurt the set.

The checklist looks pretty good overall though so I think it will do well

Exactly. They got most of the main cast members and some really good guest stars, and the ones they don't have, well, they need to save a few names for the next set.
I'm not 100% sure on this, but apparently that Eric example that was a black card signed in silver ink is for a follow up set and will be pack inserted. It makes sense, since they don't use sticker autos they print up the various auto cards for 2 or 3 sets and get them to sign them all at once once they agree to sign, it will make the next sets a lot easier for them.

I decided not to purchase any boxes based on not having Eric's autograph as "obtainable." I might as well put that money towards the autograph specifically.

NonSportsCardForum 08-13-2012 07:27 AM

His case incentive autograph will be in packs but at a very rare rate. RA has already stated this.

I will probably just pick that one up separately then.

There are still a ton of cool autos that will be pulled, and even the insert sets could be cool

There are at least 4 or 5 autos that will be $100 plus in the set

It will be a $200 plus autograph
His case incentive autograph will be in packs but at a very rare rate. RA has already stated this.
That will be great maybe I will get lucky and pull one and I am already getting the case incentive from the person I bought the case from
I will probably just pick that one up separately then.
$200 plus is probably going to be the asking price if not more

AceGambit3 08-14-2012 03:20 AM

So I've heard 14th & 15th as release dates...anyone know which?

Had hoped Lizzy Caplan would be an easier pull but looks like I'll be paying a premium for one (unless I'm lucky enough to pull it)
