Default Benchwarmers question...

Hello all!

I've been collecting Benchwarmers for years now. One of the things I've never taken advantage of was the 'wrapper redemption' program that was featured on more than one of the sets. Not sure why, maybe because ever since my 10-year-old self had to wait 3 damn months to get my Refrigerator Perry GI Joe mail-away figure, but I've never trusted or liked mail-away programs.

And yes, I'm one of the masses of Topps collectors who has a stack of waiting redemptions, some more than a year overdue...

Anyhoo, I sent off my 20 packs of 2011 BW Limited and a MO for $4.95 about two months ago. Surprise, surprise... still no 'exclusive auto' in my mailbox. I know this isn't like other card companies where they are waiting for people to sign autos. I'm sure they have piles laying around.

I have another group of 20 packs I want to send off, but not sure if it'll be a waste of postage and an MO.

Has anybody else out there done a wrapper redemption through BW? What were your results, if any?

Thanks for reading...

I've done redemptions through Benchwarmer twice and always got my cards within a couple of weeks. I know the 2011 Limited redemption autos have been on Ebay for quite some time, so I have no idea why you don't have yours yet. Tried emailing them?

email Brian Wallos, it sometimes takes a little bit, especially with a release of Daizy Dukes coming up but he'll respond.

Thanks for the advice, guys.

I get the feeling that if Benchwarmers was a magazine, the masthead would be very small. Is Brian Wallos basically 'the company?' Not a dig on him, just a question.

No, I haven't emailed them. That's my next step. Just wanted to get some feedback here first. Thanks.

Well when I emailed the general contact through the website, Brian is the one that responded, so I'd say yes, CS wise, I think he's it.
