yeah i just double checked right now to make sure. mine are all in 75pt. maybe you should try the pro-mold 80pt if you want a little space. i haven't used any pro-mold other than the 20pt, but it seems like the extra 5pt will give your cards a little breathing room.

Good idea ill check 80pt out, quick question if your room is dark with the window blinds do you need to worry about uv protection for ur display cards?

no, if you keep 'em in boxes it's the same thing. but i think most cases come standard w/uv protection

Swatch is totally different to picture on Cryptozoic site, so guessing everyone will have slightly different swatches.
I know a few people have said they were thinking of getting one but swatches seemed boring. Guess you're not going to know what you will get until card is redeemed.

i don't see anything so great about the redemptions. i feel like they should've done something different (although booklets are nice), though i don't know what. maybe jumbo patches or something. only good i think is if you want a master set, but if i was lucky enough to pull one, i would've sold it in a heartbeat. i know it probably doesn't make any sense, but i'd rather have a kaley cuoco auto/wardrobe.

edit: they should've made it auto/wardrobes for the redemptions. how sick would that be to have all 3 in the booklet?

Ya seriously! The card just has no eye appeal...If it was jumbo prime patches that would be awesome, or autographed. I don't see how the price will be $700-800 for long

I'm getting a little irritated as I'm bidding on the Seasons 1 & 2 redemption that was put on eBay yesterday (#321080554935) and it's pretty obvious that there's shill bidding going on. The person who's bidding me up has a feedback # of 1 and has only bid on 2 items a total of 30 times -- this card and the seller's only other item for sale -- a Sex and the City DVD box set. 100% of their bidding from the same seller on 2 totally unrelated items. What a coincidence.

Well, never received the case from ebay Iteachkids. That seller told me daily for the last 9 days that they were shipping the next day.

So frustrating, I looked at their feedback and they had positive feedback from other ebay users that had won their cases after mine(and of course at higher prices).


I did get a refund after I filed a paypal claim.


Did anyone else have an issue with this seller?

I'm waiting for 4 cases from them. Keep getting told to be patient, but its annoying me to no end to see feedback left from everyone who purchased after me.

I'm really sorry to hear this Mark. I've heard several complaints now about this seller from other people. I've notified crypto on your behalf, but probably nothing they can do at this point, except to take them off *direct* sales.

We need to remember this when Walking Dead rolls around later in the year, as they presold a BUNCH of stuff, and I remember hearing complaints on that product as well.

Hopefully they'll come through for the other boardie still waiting too.... but somehow I doubt it.

Retract - leave the bid at whatever the shiller wants it to be - you will see the item get relisted.

I was already outbid by a (hopefully) "legitimate" bidder yesterday. Now the shiller has upped their bid again (multiple times) and tied this other bidder at $900. I think I'm through bidding, especially with this seller. The silly thing is they didn't even need to do this because the card would've went high anyway. EBay hasn't done a thing so I suppose they can't find proof he/she is shilling. Or maybe their cut on the final value fee will be too high for them to step in.

I've an interesting or stupid question about the purple Sheldon wardrobe card.



I won this variant card and I'm extremely happy with it so I looked up the shirt to pin point exactly where it came from. From looking at the picture the exact spot seems to be at the bottom left corner of the circle. All the lines and pieces match up except for the fact that the swatch is not green in the card and when I looked closer at the card it looks as if where the green should have been had been coloured in as it leaks onto the white a little.



My question is does anybody know why Cryptozoic would not allow the green? Or am I missing a spot where it could be coming from?

I am in the same boat with the same seller. I figure as long as they are still communicating, they aren't trying to rip me off. They said I could keep waiting or take a refund because it is taking so long. Hopefully the cases will show up.

Prices may have softened but if you got in early there is absolutely no way to lose on it.

My case cost was $750 delivered, and my case was pretty average. No redemption, no printing plate and my auto/wardrobe card was Raj. I got a nice spread on autos and wardrobe cards (15 single wardrobes, 5 dual) with 0 duplicates.

I'm almost done selling off all the cards I'm not keeping and sales should be around $560 after the final 4 auctions end.

So I figure for the remaining $190 (plus ebay fees) I'm getting the cards I'm keeping:

Raj auto/wardrobe
Mann, Baranski, Metcalf, McKellar, Wheaton and Burton autos
Penny M-03 and M-10 wardrobes
Penny/Leonard DM-5 dual wardrobe

Looking at current prices the keepers are worth around $550-$600.

So even an "average" break is yielding around $1100 in sales, kind of explains those $1000+ cases.

Heck, it might even be better if I wasn't in Canada since I'm not even trying to sell any base sets. There's just no way to ship them at a reasonable price, shipping is about twice the cost of a set here.

So when I opened my one box and found a pack with only 1 card and a pack that was split open. Crypto emailed me back and said they'd send me some replacement packs if I'd like. Of course wouldn't turn down that offer.

Received 3 packs in the mail today. Happy to see they are packs from hobby box/case (hot packs I guess), and not retail which I thought they would be.

Opened all 3 and wound up pulling a Levar Burton auto

I'm surprised how quickly and drastically most of the cards have fallen. A lot of the cards from the first set have come down now too. I wonder if the prices will go up once they dry up on eBay or if this is it.
