If this production is 7000 boxes, there should be some great cases.

I know the 7000 boxes was announced by Cryptozoic directly. I can't find the blog or article that references it.

Printing plates sound fun- not sure what they'll be like as not familiar.
So excited about the dual wardrobe cards (and that there are 7 different ones), how many do you think will be in a case? 1-2 like walking dead set.
This set just keeps getting better.

Here is an article referencing the 7000 boxes

2013 Cryptozoic The Big Bang Theory Seasons 3 and 4 Checklist, Info, Boxes

"Despite the first set's popularity, Crytozoic isn't letting the presses roll. The release is limited to a print run of 7,000 boxes. This will further fuel demand. Over the long-term, 2013 Cryptozoic The Big Bang Theory Seasons 3 and 4 sealed wax values should hold very strong."

Also when you look at the dual costume card pictures on the checklist does there seem to be Sheldon's flash shirt used? Now that would fetch big dollars just red let alone with a variant

All the following calculations are going of the assumption that Cryptozoic is making 7000 boxes.

4 printing plates of the 67 base cards:

1 per 627 packs (contrary to checklist which states 1 per 864)
1 per 26 boxes
1 per 2.2 cases

25 Redemption cards of each Girls and Boys of The Big Bang Theory for a total of 50:

1 per 3360 packs
1 per 140 boxes
1 per 11.6 cases

7000 autographs (1 per box)

So now the big assumptions of how many each person signed:

Autograph Line-up

A1 - Johnny Galecki
1. (100 Cards)---1 per 5.8 cases
2. (150 Cards)---1 per 3.9 cases

A2 - Jim Parsons
1. (100 Cards)---1 per 5.8 cases
2. (150 Cards)---1 per 3.9 cases

A3 - Kaley Cuoco
1. (100 Cards)---1 per 5.8 cases
2. (150 Cards)---1 per 3.8 cases

Odds of hitting one of the big 3 at the #1 autograph rate is 1 per 1.94 cases
Odds of hitting one of the big 3 at thie #2 autograph rate is 1 per 1.30 cases

A4 - Simon Helberg
1. (150 Cards)---1 per 3.88 cases
2. (200) Cards---1 per 2.91 cases

Odds of hitting one of the above combined at the #1 autograph rate is 1 per 1.3 cases
Odds of hitting one of the above combined at the #2 autograph rate is 1 per .89 cases

A5 - Kunal Nayyar
1. (150 Cards)---1 per 3.88 cases
2. (200 Cards)---1 per 2.91 cases

Odds of hitting one of the above combined at the #1 autograph rate is 1 per .97 cases
Odds of hitting one of the above combined at the #2 autograph rate is 1 per .69 cases

A6 - Mayim Bialik
1. (200 Cards)---1 per 2.91 cases
2. (250 Cards)---1 per 2.33 cases

Odds of hitting one of the above combined at the #1 autograph rate is 1 per .68 cases
Odds of hitting one of the above combined at the #2 autograph rate is 1 per .53 cases

A7 - Melissa Rauch
1. (200 Cards)---1 per 2.91 cases
2. (250 Cards)---1 per 2.33 cases

Odds of hitting one of the above combined at the #1 autograph rate is 1 per .58 cases
Odds of hitting one of the above combined at the #2 autograph rate is 1 per .43 cases

So you should hit 2 wardrobe autograph cards per case

A8 - Aarti Man
(300 Cards)---1 per 1.94 cases

A9 - Kevin Sussman
(300 Cards)---1 per 1.94 cases

A10 - John Ross Bowie
(400 Cards)--- 1 per 1.46 cases

Or, they could be like Walking Dead where there was an even distribution of all autos.

Have all of you noticed the prices of season 1 lately? Penny just sold for $600... Galecki $350+.... damn, I'm regretting sellin my master last summer now lol.

I think this set will be great. I'm going to bust at least 2-3 cases.

Same thing with those Dobrev's from VDiaries. I thought I did good selling my two at $175 each. I think they're well over $300 now. Will be hanging on to whatever I get from both of these releases of the big names.

Anyone who is interested in buying some boxes, looks like Blowout put some up for sale finally for $76.95. Guess they don't see these going up in price like Walking Dead did.

I see no reason why these boxes won't get to the $100 to $110 range right away, like the 1st series did. That said, I'm breaking every one that I've been able to track down so far! Between 4 retailers, I've pieced together 15 boxes. I'm approaching this one with hopes I have a great chance at the top autos from 4 different cases. Avg. box cost is only about $60. Locked 'em in asap.

Where do you see this at?

I see the boxes and cases, but it just says "product info" instead of a price

They were up for a couple of days, but probably sold out again. I pre-ordered a case the other day and then I looked again and they were no longer available. I know they weren't there the couple days before so maybe they got an extra one or someone cancelled?

Edit: Got beat to the punch. ^

I apologize in advance for my naivety/ignorance; I tried doing some research to no avail.

What is the reason for not having sketches in BBT? Is it the type of show, being a comedy, that there aren't many ways to sketch the characters?

Oh ok, gotcha. I found then on another site for same price. Hoping the boxes go up in value once release date comes. Think imma preorder 3 boxes. Break 2 and sell 1 after price goes up some. If it does

Sketches for TV shows can be a nightmare, depending on the people involved.

Sketches require permission for likeness rights from the actors involved (those can be easy or difficult depending on each actor), the show creators and the networks.

Often they need a lot of lead time just because of approvals, it also explains why sketches are usually 1 or 2 per case instead of 1 per box for TV shows, although there are exceptions.

Ordered two boxes...even though I've never watched the show.

Girlfriend said its a good show and ordered seasons 1-5 on eBay. That and seeing the talk on here about the upcoming release, decided to order her a box and a box to sell after price goes up. So have 2 preordered. If I like the show I might preorder one more or just keep the second box for myself.

With the binder..there's two binders correct? One regular and one a more limited "platinum" one I believe? Regular having wardrobe and other having auto. If I'm correct, what's the price on them and is the auto worth getting? Asking because as stated above I haven't watched the show yet so idk how popular that character is

The binder specials are unique since you can't them them in packs/boxes, so that drives the prices up a little. The original binder has one of Sheldon's wardrobe cards. That one is going anywhere between $30-60. The Platinum one has Leonard's Mom (I forget her name) Auto and I actually paid $45 for the Platinum binder pre-ordered. For whatever reason, it has not been released yet, and is expected to be out two weeks before the second set is released. I think they may have started as low as $30 upon first announcement.

Just to be clear, the Platinum binder/auto is actually part of the first set (Seasons 1&2), but has yet to be released (should be Jan 31). The boxes you pre-ordered should be for the second set (seasons 3&4) and actually has a separate binder coming out with its own wardrobe card.

Ohhhh ok. I should've looked closer and saw the "season 1-2" on the bottom of the binder. Threw me off by dropping so late after the first set already dropped.

Any good sites selling preorders of the season 3-4 binders? I've checked blowout and DA but don't have any that I've seen for order yet. Pm if need be
