Someone said the pre-sale price started around $350. It was at $400 and dropped to $385 earlier this week. What do you think the price will do before the release?

I'm curious myself. TOPPS is getting slammed by collectors after 2 less than stellar releases in a row. Heroes was overproduced and stuffed with junk costume cards but at least cases were cheap at around $300 and have leveled off at around $320-$340 after a brief pre-release surge then came LOTR Masterpieces 2, I pity anyone who ordered any quantity of this, it is the most god-awful major sketch release I can recall, massive duplication of artists and characters, a 2 case break I saw had 5 waterhouse sketches and 7 woodside sketches, all absolute garbage and most of the other sketches were nearly as bad, although there was 1 really good sketch. Ebay is showing the same results, piles of absolutely horrid sketches and most are nearly identical. Thank goodness I'm not a LOTR collector. Indy may or may not suffer, depending on if collectors are more wary of ordering after the last 2 releases.

Yes Incarnadine, I'm glad I only ordered one case of LOTR, and I wish I'd properly checked the artist list before hand - alarm bells at artists doing 1-2,000 sketches.

The Indiana Jones sketch numbers look much better (max I think of about 300 by any single artist), so it looks like it won't be the same, but we need to hear from Topps about the insert ratio.

If autograph cards of some minor actor, and one of the producers are the major pulls in a case then Topps has definitely hit the disappointment trifecta!

I mean really... this product is supposed to be released in 13 days and they don't even have the odds out. It will probably be delayed since Topps doesn't even know what will be in it.

This is TOPPS we are talking about, the masters of not giving out information. They still haven't updated the Heroes page with the artists added later or any numbers (they are missing over 20 artists from their last list and no numbers at all) so they may or may not bother to add anymore info for Indy.

Keep in mind that Topps doesn't even know the Sketch odds yet for LOTR Masterpieces 2 and it has been released. Why? Sketch card artists just sent off the latest wave of them!! The Topps site shows some general odds, but has not worked out how many of every artist has been placed in the product.
