New Topps Indianna Jones release

Just looking for opinions on the upcomming release of this product. It looks like based on the sell sheet that Harrison Ford and Sean Connery autos will be in the product but they will be cuts from other signed items. It looks like this will follow the same pattern as some of the other non sport released - either 1 sketch, auto or material per box.

My local dealer has offered me his allotment at a great price and I am wondering about this - 8 box cases are reasonable enough that busting 8-10 of them would not be a stretch. With all of the hype around the new movie does this product have a chance to be good??

Not sure as I don't dabble in non sport stuff too much.

Interested in opinons.

Topps Heroes will be my first non-sports purchase so I am not too familiar with these, but I couldn't stop kicking myself for not getting in on the Star Wars cases. I just am not sure how many Indiana Jones fans there are out there. I know that there are a ton of Star Wars fans.

i was going to get heroes but im going to hold out for at least a case of this.. indiana jones has a huge following and you can't go wrong with 2 sketches per box (if i remember correctly) + an auto? i gotta recheck it.

chuckd, if you have the money, and can live without it for a month or so, might as well lock in now.

EDIT: my bad. 2 sketches/box is LOTR masterpieces.....my bad

I'm gonna offer abit of "unoffical news" so you can take it with a grain of salt if you want but this is from the Indiana Jones Heritage thread on the Non-sport update website which is a great place for non-sportcard info ....

According to this one UK member he just checked with his distributor and Topps told his distributor that YES they are adding Harrison Ford to the autograph list plus cut autos from deceased actors Denholm Elliott (Marcus Brody) and Pat Roach (the huge mechanic Indy fights on the nazi plane in Raiders) ...

If this is indeed true this will be great news as Elliott is a key figure in all 3 movies and a great actor and of course a Ford auto goes without saying as to how fantastic that would be ....... obviously pull ratios would be ridiculous but at least the possiblity would be there .....

Do they happen to talk about what each box is supposed to include? Is it 1 Auto or Sketch per?
