I was thinking about getting a case, but with BBT coming out soon I think I'll just buy that Dobrev auto/wardrobe.
I really wonder how much they will be starting at? The Dobrev auto from series 1 was pretty reasonable for the first couple of months and I got one for $130, but the last few have sold for $300-$350, if you can even find one now.

I'm expecting the Dobrev to start at $300, even with the higher volume at launch

This set suddenly became hot. Sold 4 cases today alone. Btw guys tip of the day: GET THE BINDERS. Selling fast at $30, a friend of mine sold out at this price. I think due to the great card included.

I'm now going to bust at least 1-2 cases.

Fixed. Same as happened last year. BBT will do exactly the same next month. Everybody joked about the sets, talked crap about them, then - a week before release, cases go up $150 to $200 each.

Well last year they plummeted immediately due to awful collation and way too much supply. I don't see that happening this time around.

I broke 2 cases last year and ended up with all autos and wardrobe cards. I did see some horrible breaks, but fortunately I didn't end up with one.

Good lord. I'm sorry. I've just always done very well from my distributor, but that's just amazingly horrible.

Wow, that's really bad.

I only bought 2 boxes and didn't get any of the top tier autos, but I did get a Kebbel which was a keeper. I did get an M5 wardrobe card though, I didn't think much of it at the time since they were selling around $25 at release, until people realized it was a really tough hit. By the time I sold it it paid for my 2 boxes, but I still sold it too early as they go for about $200 now (they peaked around $250).

Unsure, but I am leaning towards most likely.

You can keep checking there...Trading Cards

Season one trading cards/binders are still available.

I don't think they will pre-sale boxes, the Walking Dead is the only set I think they've pre-sold, and I think that was in response to pre-sales from other companies being above SRP.

But they will have the boxes available after the street date. Not sure why you would buy them at SRP ($84/box) though, when many websites have them available for pre-sale for much lower (including BO at $60/box).

It looks like they are hitting ebay already (it looks like a 1 case break).

There is a Dobrev auto/wadrobe up auction style, but starting at $399.99, and unless this seller has some inside info his wardrobe card prices are... optimistic to say the least.

Here are some of the auction style starting prices:

M22- $99.99
M29- $299.99
M20- $74.99
M23- $199.99

A day early, nice, street date is 1/25. Most likely why those prices are that high being the first listed.

Could be, they seem to be 24 hr. auctions, but I don't know how many people are even looking yet.

On the plus side, for those who order cases the break looks pretty good.

I count

1 auto/wardrobe
10 autos
3 dual wardrobe
16 single wardrobe.

Maybe missing 1 auto, but it could be the seller is keeping it or has 1 duplicate auto and didn't list it.

I've reported that seller to the ceo of Crypto, who emails me quite frequently. I hate to do it, but it's just not right. The rest of us are not allowed to sell yet, heck I havent' even received my cases for my customers yet. Just not right.
