While this set has died down now that BBT has been released I've still been following the Nina Dobrev autographs from both VD releases and prices are getting crazy.

Yesterday a season 2 auto/wardrobe sold for $400 B/O and today a season 1 Dobrev sold for $599.99 BIN.

There's a gap between April and August where I wasn't tracking and the prices were climbing. that $134.99 on the 15th was an anomaly, the buyer put the BIN at about half what the previous few had sold for.

At these crazy prices for her auto, there's no reason not to take a chance on a case imo.

If talking season 2:

Depends on the case price, only 1 in 3 will have a Dobrev and the other 2 might be tough to break even, although I don't think the cases would be big losers either, Somerhalder autos seem to be hovering close to $200 and Wesley autos around $150 so the remaining 25-30 auto and wardrobe hits and the inserts might make it close.

I guess the math says you have a 2/3 chance of a small loss and a 1/3 chance at a modest profit (barring hitting a redemption)

For season 1 it becomes tougher, the Dobrev seems harder to pull, I think someone mentioned opening 40 cases and only hitting 4 Dobrevs.

Maybe, but both bidders are high feedback and don't seem to have a history with the seller. I also noticed that another Dobrev that was listed earlier today was "ended early" not long after the auction ended. Possibly the runner up picked up the other one off ebay.

I'll be watching to see if that card gets re-listed anytime soon.

Still tracking the A1's. Prices just getting crazy now, but that one with the $199.95 BIN , the seller either didn't do his homework or made a typo in the price, either way that's gotta hurt.

I'm pretty sure this list has every card that has sold on ebay so far, although there were a couple others that "ended early".

I got my redemption cards in the mail today. They are numbered on the back out of 10...so they are a little different than the pack inserted ones. The numbers out of 10 match the redemption card.

We didn't need to see anything - Crypto announced upfront there were 100 each of A1, A2, and A3 not counting the redemptions or replacements.

All I pulled was Nina's and Ian's....so I sold all my extra's. But kept a full set of each for my two daughter's for their collections.

Got a case for my wife and the only good hit was a Dobrev auto. Have another case on its way. On a semi-related note we saw a decent amount of the cast today at the Vampire Diaries convention in Chicago.
