Default i got 7 cards in my Marvel Premier pack.

like the title says, i got 7 cards. i got an extra base card and a sketch card. The extra sketch card is of Silver surfer, and on the back it's been signed with a sharpie. I have opened 3 packs of Marvel Premier, 2 packs had five cards. what i want to know is, is the extra sketch card, singed on the back rare? my other sketch cards are not signed on the back. The pick is the card in question. the red hulk sketch card doesn't have anything on the back.

Rare? Most likely not. I have seen a few artists sign the back. That just seems to me how that artist does it. At least you know what his name is. You defiantly got lucky with the extra cards though.

It's nice the artist's name is printed, too.

BTW, the Red Hulk is by Frankie B. Washington in case you didn't know.

Looks like a clear sticker with the name printed on it.

Yes sir, you are correct. I would not be so crazy about that, knowing that.

However, it would be great if they put the artist's name on the cards. Good for the collectors and the artists, I'd think.

Not to be rude, just helping you out. Singed means burned. I honestly thought at first you were complaining about a damaged sketch card.

I got seven cards in one of my boxes as well.An extra base card and an extra base sketch. I did not have a name printed on the back like yours did though so I think I just got lucky. My other thought though is that if you shake the box you might be able to hear the pack moving around in the box if the pack is thin. Therefore in order to not have a box searcher look for the boxes with three or more hinges you put extra cards in the packs with a single hinge in order to fatten the pack up and not be able to distinguish between the boxes. Or if people wanted to weigh boxes as well this might stop that. I have seen a few boxes with seven cards and it seemed like they usually had a single hinge card in it but who knows? Could just be luck.

The problem with that is there are instances where artists don't return completed cards (it happens much more than it should). So what are they going to do with 300 wasted Joe Schmo cards when Joe only drew on 10 of them?
