It's definitely tough to have to part with your collection but, like you stated, just move the things that aren't part of your core collection. I've done it 3 times over with my NFL collection. Now, I've reached a point where I'm so very specific, it's very easy to decide the yes or no part of adding to the collection. It has to be: Hall of Famer, On Card Autograph from well known set(s). That's it. I have zero interest in anything else.

As for my sketchcard collecting, well, I've got those posted and that's all my collection is at this point. About 20 something sketches and about 5 or 6 AP's. I think I am pretty refined in my collecting of sketches at this point, learning my lesson from the transitions I went through with my sports card collecting. Has to be: Marvel/DC White Queen/Phoenix/Poison Ivy/Huntress. That's it. That's all I care to have. I totally appreciate the AWESOME work these artists do, but that's all I chase for whatever reason. I've got one hell of an AP from Sara that is complete, but awaiting approval. It's based on a favorite image of mine by another artist and she was gracious enough to accept my request using Dark Phoenix in place of the other artist's character.

Anyhow, you'll find you will be much more pleased with purchases when you've only got things you know you'll PC for a nice long time coming in, versus just whatever looked good at that moment of the day.

Glad you had a great experience. Funny enough, I've gotten a couple commissions from artists known to do quick box/envelop doodles... but I've never gotten a doodle When it happens... its going to be EPIC!

As for the Photobucket stuff... yeah, it's a mess. I've tried to click that link to go back to the "old" version and the screen just fades out and won't let me do anything. Tried using the organizer - forget it. Some stupid arrows show up that, if they worked properly, would probably let me put stuff in different albums like you're supposed to. I just do it one at a time. So annoying...

The Card Snatcher strikes once more. I'm on a bit of a commission kick right now, though, so I think I'm going to cool it on packed-out cards for a little while (unless I find some more crazy deals).

Yeah, that is a good question. I see a lot of break posts, but not a lot of mailday posts for this stuff.

It went from a little high on the singles to some good deals in a hurry. I still think Bronze Age may be the best bang for your buck singles-wise for the recent products, but there are some deals to be had out there.
