Thanks for your post!
Yes, the base sketch cards are a parallel set to the non-sketch /199 base cards. It's not clear how many there are, but there's one character per artist--I think there are different artists doing different characters, though.

So, what I'm talking about is that I have a sketch card for all 50 characters. I guess you could go totally nuts and try to get all 50 by one artist, but I'm not even sure that any artists did 50.

EDIT:

By the way, if anyone else out there is trying to build these character sets, I'm listing some of the base sketch cards for the characters that I had a few versions of. I'm gong to try to keep it to just what I need for the 2 sets other than for a couple characters I really like the sketches of

Well, I wrapped up the second set of 50 characters for the base sketch cards tonight. So I am done, except for picking up upgrades here and there.

I don't want to say which ones to mess up things for the other set builders out there, but there definintely seem to be some characters that don't have as many sketches as others. Could just be the luck of the listings though.

If you notice any broken links above, those have been chosen for resale because I had an upgrade and no longer needed it for a set. There's a few characters that I have several dupes of and I'll be paring those down a bit.

I'm also going to do another post once I get a good format for the character set display. Then I'll just update those as I upgrade the individual sketches.

I decided to pull some of the hinged cards I had for sale that I really liked because these are selling really low IMO and I'd rather keep my Ghost Riders than sell at the current prices

Anyway, here's the next batch. I also have a couple PSCs to share, but I'll do a separate post for that.

Here's an AP (commissioned), DC 52 sketch, and some PSCs I've had come in:

Ashleigh Popplewell - Ghost Rider (very happy with the sketch and she got it back to me in less than 2 weeks)

Charles Hall - Batman (unfortunate about some of the paint having chipped, but still a really nice one)

Ted Dastick, Jr - Hellboy and Captain America

Here's the latest batch. After I scan what I got in today, I'll update my Set 1 which should be all in-hand now and maybe show what I've got for Set 2 in-hand. I have to admit, I'd really like to do a table-like display because the giant list of images sucks.

On another note, as all these come in, I'm getting a better understanding of what a ridiculous collection of sketch cards this is But I really like them

Ashleigh Popplewell - X-23

Natasa Kourtis - Thing

Danielle Gransaull - Thanos

Elvin Hernandez - Storm

Stuart Sayger - Storm

Stuart Sayger - Spider-Woman

Chris Foreman - Spider-Woman

Virginia "ArtofSin" Kakava - Rogue

Dan Borgonos - Nightcrawler

Wendy "Mashi" Chew - Luke Cage

Rodrigo Dos Santos - Loki

Jose Jaro - Iron Fist

Lee Kohse - Hulk

Ryan Kincaid - Green Goblin (definitely check out the bigger version of this)

Bienfier Flores - Elektra

Charles Holbert - Doctor Strange

Adrian Nelson - Daredevil

Charles Holbert - Daredevil

Ashleigh Popplewell - Cyclops

Lawrence Reynolds - Black Panther

Thanks for the feedback

Re: Matt Slay--are you saying that *is* or *is not* his signature? Based on my searches, I though that was Slay but just wanted to be sure you weren't saying it's not him.

Thanks man--there's definitely a few I'm not crazy about, but that's just part of building a sketch set and why we have the ability to upgrade

Thanks--he uses a lot of detail in his sketches, which I enjoy. Sometimes simple is cool, but sometimes the details are also nice.

In terms of the number of quality sketches that came in today, I'm pretty sure this is a mailday that I won't top for some time.

First up, decided to pickup up some Cherry sketches by Ashleigh Popplewell:

Next: ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: "GET A GLEBE" This one is signed by both Mick and Matt.

This group of Marvel Premier sketches is pretty damn awesome. Highlights are the Carrillo Ghost Rider and Laurange Elektra, but there are several that are really nice this time.

Randy Martinez - Apocalypse

Joel Gomez - Deadpool

Bukshot - Doctor Strange

Kat Laurange - Elektra

Jaime Carrillo - Ghost Rider

Lak Lim - Ghost Rider

Ashleigh Popplewell - Human Torch

Cal Slayton - Iceman

Danielle Gransaull - Invisible Woman

Chris Foreman - Mr. Fantastic

Natasa Kourtis - Ms. Marvel

Elvin Hernandez - Ms. Marvel

Lawrence Reynolds - Mystique

Harold Edge - Professor X

Elvin Hernandez - Psylocke

Lawrence Reynolds - Punisher

?? - Silver Surfer

Butch Mapa - Spider-Man

James Riot - Thanos

Cyrus Mesarcia - Thor

Kat Laurange - Venom

Mark Morales - Wasp

Ryan Kincaid - Wasp

Thanks--now that my card funds have been depleted, I'm going to miss getting maildays like this

However, I still have plenty incoming and some kickass commissioned PSCs and APs I'm looking forward to.
