Sweet Hall Ms. Marvel. Can't wait until my Bronze Age pick-ups arrive. I'm starting to think the package was stolen!

Yikes--I hope not. That would really stink

Ran the tracking info - should have arrived days ago, but it looks like they are still in transit somewhere between here (NJ) and California. Must have been put on the wrong truck or something.

Got a bunch to scan, so I'm saving the Premier and Bronze Age for another day.

Up first, I picked up 2 more of the oversized APs Sara Richard had for the Bettie Page Collection

I also picked up the second and last AE Frank Kadar had for Lady Death

2 more from my Victra (Power Girl is 9"x12" and Rogue is 5"x5")

2 large sketches from Anthony Hochrein (both are 9"x12")

PSC by Jared Souza

Anthony Tan from Sketchlords

Last 2 from Marvel Beginnings

Rusty Fin

Thanks--I got them at ridiculously low prices IMO.

That's great your sketches finally showed up. Now you need to show them off

I don't often post stuff I picked up on eBay because I figure everybody who cares has already seen them, but maybe once I scan them all in I'll post 'em up just to be a good sport.

Well, if I followed that rationale then 95% of what I've posted wouldn't be here

But this thread is specifically to show off your collection. That's a different animal. I check out the Scoundrel forums to see the sketches, not to see who bought the ones I already saw on eBay

Anyway, my pick-ups are up. Scoundrel Art Community - Cards that were purchased or traded (but not packed pull) A couple of nice Jessica Drew sketches IMO and as the prices drop there will be more Don't think that Acar is ever going to get into my price range though

Me too! Great to see that super heroes need their morning coffee too Since the artist is crediting somebody, it must be a replication of a comic book panel. Think I'd like to have that book in my collection!

Thanks Cujo--I've got a big pile of stuff to scan, but I've been too lazy. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow. Picked up my first Katie Cook and Veronica O'Connell sketches, so that's the teaser

Here's the non-Bronze Age stuff (BA stuff may be coming later tonight)

First up is a Contemporary Pinup AP from Frank Kadar and 3 PSCs I commissioned

This was a PSC (not commissioned) from Frankie B. Washington

Here's the 4 AEs that Mike Vasquez did for Lady Death

These next 2 are Marvel Premier APs I commissioned from Randy Martinez

And back to our regularly scheduled Marvel Premier sketches

Ashleigh Popplewell

Kat Laurange

Elvin Hernandez

Puis Calzada

Stuart Sayger

Rodrigo Dos Santos

Sara Richard (3 hinge)

Harold Edge

Layron DeJarnette

Lord Mesa (not a huge fan, but wanted to pick one of his up)

Those LDs are awesome! You are a Marvel Premier sketchaholic. You need an intervention

Heh--thanks

I've not being buying much Premier lately, so unless I see something pretty amazing and pretty reasonably priced I'm probably not going to be adding much more. I'd say 2 character sets and a bunch of extras is enough though

Here's a couple of APs I picked up (but didn't commission) and the long promised Bronze Age haul.

First, the 2 oversized APs of Domino:

Mary Bellamy

Chris Foreman

Now for the Bronze Age

A quick word before the scans. For the new sketch collectors, you can get some very nice sketches for cheap right now from Bronze Age. Keep an eye out--it's a great time to build your collection in a hurry if you have some funds available.

Mike Rooth

Eric McConnell

Irma Ahmed

Stefanie Battalene

Jomar Bulda

Albert Morales

Rich Mollinelli

Apriyadi Kusbiantoro

Rich Woodall

Alicione da Silva

Katie Cook (not crazy about her work at the current prices, but I needed one of her sketches for my collection and I figured it should be a Ghost Rider)

Noah Salonga

Anthony Tan

Lee Kohse

Lee Kohse

Alberto Silva

Sam Agro

Nestor Celario

Veronica O'Connell (amazing sketch--totally worth the high price)

Rich Mollinelli

Mary Jane Pajaron (keep an eye on her work--she's not that expensive yet, but I have a feeling she will be soon)

Butch Mapa

Rhiannon Owens

Mary Bellamy

Tone Rodriguez

Rich Woodall

Thanks--I appreciate that. What did you pick up?

Also, I see you made it over to Scoundrel. Pretty amazing collections over there, right?

I have the seller's scans- not sure if that suffices for a showoff yet or if I need to get them in hand and scanned a bit better.

Yes- there are some amazing collectors on that site.

I will go ahead and update my thread here in a minute. Really pleased with these three pickups. I also wanted to tell you that I am rather pleased with most prices selller's are asking on their cards.

Don't we all need a Katie in our collection! Haven't gotten mine yet, and chances are it will be a PSC at a show because I can't afford to pay what other people are asking for her licensed cards.

Nice additions today.

Not asking anybody... just watching the eBay listings. $150 - $250 for a licensed Marvel card is just plain outside of my budget and I try to live within my means But she was selling cute little sketch cards at NY Comic Con for $5 this year (line was too long for me to wait) and I'd be perfectly happy with a couple of those. I'll be at her table bright and early if she is at NYCC again next year!
