Default Any word ?

Does anyone know how trading card companies aquire licensing rights to make tv show cards? I only ask because I would love to see a "Boardwalk Empire" trading card set. I know Rittenhouse has done other HBO cards such as True Blood and Game of Thrones....would be really cool to see a Boardwalk Empire trading card set with autographs and costume worn cards.

They evaluate the financial feasibility of making such a set, then they contact the studio that owns the rights...

I see, thanks for the reply...guess it would ruin any chances being they are in the 3rd season already, but still would be nice if they did a set.

That is a really niche show. I can't see there being a set ever made for it.

Considering how bad the Sopranos set tanked, I doubt Boardwalk Empire would ever see the light of day.

Not a good comparison. Voyager is Star Trek which has a built in following. Also, the recent set was not the first trading card set made for the series.
