I don't think Crypt qualifies what's rare or not. I believe those artists just did more because unlike Rittenhouse there isn't a Incentive artist program at Crypt.

Based on what I have seen on scoundrel artist who did 30 or less are marked as rare. Amber Shelton who did 40 is not listed but Richard Cox and Frank Kadar who only did 30 each are listed as rare.

I believe this is specific to this set though.

Having a hell of a time finding and then buying at a fair price any I like.

Checked all the "previews" the artist posted at scroundel, where the hell are 99% of those . PC or sitting in an unopened case I guess.l.

Yeah as much as I like Batman, I'm glad I only got one box, sold the sketch
and decided just to get a Batman sketch commissioned.

I will say though, despite the low resale value on alot of the sketches, they all are pretty nice sketches (kicks the crap out of what Topps normally gives you)

Yup, I don't regret it. Mini Masters are selling, as well as lower end sketches. Break even on case = lots of hotter product later. Plus a lot of $100 sketches in this set. Like anything else really. $10 auto's in WD as well.

I mean, go look at what's sold. I tried buying a few Sara Richard's, all gone for $70+. Boxes at $60ish = great deal with this set imo. And again, = great price on hotter product. Someone on here bought a case at cost from me, because I was committed to it. Know what he got?? A bbt 3/4 case at a screaming deal. Just cuz of this set.

And I appreciate the deal.

I have been happy with how these cards are selling. Sure, there are a good number of sketches that sell for $10. If that surprises you, then you must not open many sketch-based products, because pretty much all of them are filled with $10 sketches. However IMO, the low end sketches from this product are much nicer than in most products, so I think they are going to be a lot easier to sell. And the odds of pulling a high end sketch seem to be pretty good.

And as cujobyte mentioned, the non-sketch cards are selling fairly well. Last night I listed a master set (base set + parallel set + the 3 insert sets) and a mini master (base set + the 3 insert sets). The master set sold within an hour, and I already had an offer on the mini master within 3 hours. It's not like I was one of the first to list or sell these sets either... they were listed a week and a half after the product came out. That's $200 from non-sketch cards I wasn't really counting on being able to move quickly, and I still have 17 base sets left to sell.

Just a piece of selling advice: put the word "sketch" in your listing titles.

I was wondering why these weren't showing up in my saved searches and saw you didn't have sketch in there. A lot of people use that for their searches.

Hopefully that will get more eyeballs on your listings. I only saw the Catwoman because of a link you posted here or on Facebook.

Is it just me or does it kinda tick you off when you see an incredible AP sketch but the pack-inserted sketches by the same artist are kinda so-so.

Not saying this is the case but I'm seeing it more and more.

Worse when an artist has set a standard for Thier work, then don't come close to it in a set. Which happened with this set. At least for 1 major artist. IMHO.
