Default Anyone ever do Marvel Beginnings series?

Was thinking about preordering a box or two of Series 3....Anyone ever get into Series 1 or 2? Are they nice for 60 somewhat dollars a box?

Thanks in advance!

I've never opened any but you might try Scoundrel Art Forum or Non-Sport Update forum. Scoundrel's has a dedicated sub-forum for Beginnings and NSU has a box-break forum with a dedicated thread. Good luck!

Depends on what you are looking for. If you like sketch cards, then you might want something else, since sketch cards fall 1 every other box (with autographs also falling 1 every other box).

For the same price, I think Marvel Bronze Age is a better buy. Especially with the randomly inserted mini-archive boxes that have 5 sketches.

UD recent products are super loaded w hits like plates, comic panel, hologram, holofoil, autos, worn mem relics, manufactured patches and sketches
edit: all those "hits" werent in one product (didnt want to mislead from the way written)

the poorly received set was the kree-skull one w hits far too few .. sketch hit i think not even 1 per case .. so breakers stayed away

mb1 and mb2 were fun to open
ur pricepoint seems good ... are the hits listed yet for mb3?

I opened cases of both I and II and plan on doing so again with III. It would be kinda silly not to as the base set is "living" which means it all makes one maga base set.

Between autos, holograms, sketches and possible plates and comic panels, there is decent value there.

this one requires a multi-case purchase to sort all the cards and make sets. it is a bit similar to heritage baseball in that it requires a lot of labor to make any money if that is what your goal is. if you are a collector, pick up a box or two for fun but know you may get shut out of sketches.
