Default Can anyone recommend a sketch artist?

I want to get a few customs done for my Gf for xmas... I know its coming up quick, but can you guys recommend some artists that do custom sketch cards or commission paintings?

I know the time constraint is a little rough, so im not expecting miracles here...

BTW im thinking of sketches/paintings of TV and Movie characters

thank you

Gary Keezle is great, think hes backed up though atm. Ted Dastick is also great and hes on this site actually! Ted's info is dd316 on this site. Steve Stanley does real nice stuff too and he is accepting right now. You can reach him on Scoundrel Art, acutally one of the best places to go to find artist who are accepting commisioins.

Thanks for the mention, but I'm REALLY busy between now and Christmas, no way I could fit in anything else.

I'd be glad to help out in the future though.

I think Chris Foreman had some commission space available recently, you can find him on Facebook.

Lee Kohse was just running a Christmas commission marathon, but I think he's still taking larger sized commissions. His site is here: The art of Lee Kohse |

I think Zack Giallongo probably needs some work... If this is the kind of thing you're looking for...

I would assume that most if not all of them have closed commissions lists and those who might have an opening may take several months to get to you.
Many of the better sketch card artists have LONG commission lists, so it would be hard to find soneone to crank out anything photorealistic. If you don't mind a more whimsical approach to the subjects, there are plenty of Scoundrels who would do a bang up job.

Although you might want to try Rhianna Owens who might be a relation to Rhiannon Owens.
