This new set will be sold as sealed cases along with individual boxes. All boxes will be first packaged in cases. If individual box orders come in, those orders will be pulled from a freshly opened case, similar to what is done via distributors or hobby shops. We're doing it this way to allow even a single box order the chance at a 'case hit'.

Overall set amounts will be a minimum of 50 cases (500 boxes), but no more than 55 cases. This amount will depend on the total sketches artists are able to complete prior to the artwork deadline.

Artist counts will be updated close to release for an exact count. Each artist will will have a maximum of 25 sketches, keeping each one limited and not flooding the set with a single artist or style.

The incentives for this set are the price discounts for case orders, instead of artist exclusives. We feel every order, no matter how small, should have a chance at pulling any card in the set.

We'll begin taking preorders soon once the website is updated to reflect the new set information. Thanks!

I protest the bolded part. I demand the chance for each and everyone of us to be able to pull 2 or 3 Waterhouse sketches out of 5 packs!

Hey everyone!

We've gotten several questions asking about the printing plates and negatives, so I've got a quick preview of what they look like.

First up are the printing plates. You can see in the photos how the card back design is raised off the actual plate. This is different from normal printing plates since we use vintage letterpress machinery. The ink has been allowed to dry, leaving a nice contrast with the gold plate. Cards are printed '4-up', meaning a small sheet of 4 cards is pressed, and then cut to size later. The full plate had 3 identical base sketch card designs, and 1 artist proof design.

We then trimmed the large plate to standard trading card size, and will be randomly inserting them in packs. There will be 4 total back design plates (3 regular, 1 AP), along with 4 front plate designs. The front plates have a small V logo in the lower corner, and are un-inked as we did not use ink on the front V logo.

The print negatives are used in creation of the printing plates above. They have the same breakdown of designs inserted in packs as the plates. The negatives are very thin and flexible, but light shouldn't affect them too much once they are in your collection.
