Are you serious?

This is going to be my favourite set ever :D

I have sketches of planets from both Warlord of Mars and Star Wars and now this is going to be epic :)!

lucky4444 12-04-2012 09:14 PM

WOW great news you guys are really thinking out side of the box cant wait :flex:

Nicnac 12-04-2012 09:16 PM

Wowee... can't wait for the details of the set...

Deathgate 12-04-2012 09:17 PM

Ah, yeah! That is going to be out of this world!

And just to throw out a quick suggestion...

Randomly inserted Neil deGrasse Tyson autograph cards.

Looks great, can't wait until next year!

And the artist list looks good. Sad to see some of the artists from the first set missing, but there are some great additions! Including Ted!

Pop Phenom 12-04-2012 10:33 PM

Can't wait for the previews to start rolling out too!

jb1981 12-04-2012 11:45 PM

Has a chance of being my favorite set. Great artist list. Can't wait for it.

Cool. I just hope they have enough common sense to include images of giant bugs attacking terror-stricken Earthlings.

killerturtle 12-05-2012 09:14 AM

Stephen Hawking auto/s would be good chaser

This looks to be a pretty cool set. I'm still trying to decide how I want to approach the artwork. Realistic is cool, but I really like that stylized sketch card in the preview (the one to the right).

Just a reference whenever I see a discussion on what is stylized and what is not in regards to space, it's important to realize that what we see in images is actually more stylized than you think. Of course, it might be otherwise meaningless for our rods and cones to interpret what it would actually look like but we use wavelengths of our eyes' spectrum to make it easier to visualize.

Could you make at least one with some giant bugs?

monkeymcgee 12-05-2012 07:44 PM

I'm sure these will be beautiful, but not sure it's one for me. I look forward to seeing the breaks though :)!

The Aliens, Starship Troopers, Men In Black, etc. movies are not historical novels! :D

Cool--I didn't know she was behind the art direction. I'm a big fan of her work.

nick9819 12-05-2012 10:26 PM

I will be in for a case when the are available.

rip+flip 12-05-2012 10:41 PM

i will be doing a case never really collected sketch cards due to not really liking any particular set or theme but i think this is it. p.s. i think i might concentrate on the planets or something like that.

Tivo32 12-05-2012 10:58 PM

I'd be down for a case of this stuff!

jb1981 12-06-2012 12:01 AM

I will definitely be getting a case!

Portlaw 12-06-2012 07:34 AM

Guys this stuff doesn't go in cases, if it'll follow their first set. It goes in packs with each pack having a sketch card. That might change for this set though

There is a case price listed in the first post by the manufacturer. . .

nick9819 12-06-2012 08:50 AM

yes that is why I used the same wording as the OP
I understand it will probably just be ten packs
