Every Women of Marvel box includes 1 hand-drawn, colored, SketchaFEX card! Artists include Andy Price, Anthony Castrillo, Cat Staggs, Julio Naranjo "Nar", Mark McHaley, Mark Spears, Mike Lilly, Renae De Liz, Tony Perna, Dave Simons, Gabe Hernandez and many more. Inserts include an 18-card Swimsuit Edition set, a 9-card Embrace set featuring famous male/female character pairings, and a 9-card embossed set. Every case includes a case topper card signed by Adam Hughes. Customers pre-ordering 3 cases (36 boxes) receive a SketchaFEX card drawn by Warren Martineck. Customers pre-ording 9 cases (108 boxes) receive a 5"x7" card drawn by Alison Sohn

Is this a seperate product also? I saw presell info on Marvel Masterpieces set 2 and it showed this as an insert set.

Nope, it's a different set by a different company. Upper Deck is doing Marvel Masterpieces and Rittenhouse Archives is doing Women of Marvel. I'll probably be passing on Marvel Masterpieces 2 in favor of this, it's looking like MM2 is doing away with limits on how many sketches artists can do, the most any artist did for MM was 234 sketches and I know several artists have been approved for 1000+ for MM2 with 1 doing 1300. Not promising. On the other hand I trust Rittenhouse to do a good job like they did with The Complete Avengers and DC Legacy. No super rare cards of 25 or less but they don't have artists over-produce with 1000+ sketches either.

A wee bit more info. Several dealers I know have already said this product will be allocated. There will be just 8000 sequentially numbered boxes with a tentative release date of April. 9.

Some images. I'm not sure if these are base cards or promo cards but these samples look great.

Cards do look great but I am going to have to see how I do on Heroes and Indiana Jones before I dive into a product like this.
I had no clue how much it would be but when I emailed Blowout I was a little shocked.
I still may try a case. I am getting sick of sports cards.

I can't describe how much I am looking forward to this set, every new bit of information just makes it sound better and better. Adam Hughes is in for 50 sketch cards and is one of the artists doing original art for the base cards (unlike Marvel Masterpieces which used recycled images for the base cards). Someone else is doing all the legwork tracking down artists and numbers for this set, and trust me, it's not an easy undertaking, but I'll be passing along the info as it comes out. So far there are 26 artists on the list, most likely about half of what the final tally will be, and not 1 undesireable on the list.

Here is a neat picture of Adam Hughes signing the autograph cards for the 1 case incentive. It took me a full minute to notice the cards in this picture, he has a great sense of humor, although it was his girlfriends idea and she actually took the picture.
