I really love the new energy and enjoyment that is flooding the sketch card community thanks to these forums. I would like to start a thread that celebrates the best things we can find in this hobby.
I will start with Nar! SketchCollectors.com: Everything Sketch Cards Now keep in mind the fact that the link above is only those sketch cards that have been displayed on sketchcollectors. I would guess that maybe 20%-30% of the cards in circulation are displayed in public. Many collectors keep their stash hidden. Nar is a pretty amazing story because his career started with sketch cards. He is widely acknowledged as one of the top artists in the game, and I never ever get tired of looking at his stuff. One more for today, then you guys get to share your own favorites. This link is for Katie Cook, who had a successful career before sketch cards and is now writing the very successful My Little Pony comic book. My favorite page of Cookies looks like this: katiecandraw's deviantART gallery Pretty amazing stuff.

NAR used to have every single Marvel Masterpiece (I and II) sketch displayed on his website... I'm sure there's scans somewhere still. Think I saved them... I'll have to look.
/Agree, it's amazing stuff. Personally, Nar and Michael Duron's (Indiana Jones) videos got me hooked initially. |

Actually Nar started in comics and on a certain website that produced comics. Nar was a member of Digital Webbing when he did a few storys for the DW presents comics along with Ryan Ottley and other notable comics artists. He and I and a few others used have the best Art battles on DW. That guy wooped me good a few times but I got him a few times as well.

I wish I could say it was part of my collection
![]() I commissioned the Spider-Woman (top left) and I was so impressed with her work that I commissioned two more cards as gifts. The Yoda was gifted to a Star Wars fanatic that I am friends with. It was tough to give up and I regret it every time I look at the damn scan!!! The current owner will never post it though, and I think the world deserves to see Mina's little masterpiece (Call Me Mina) |

I love my local artists
and she is my very favorite. The spider-woman she did was the very first sketch card I ever commissioned. It was so amazing to watch her do it from start to finish, and she let me take pictures the entire time. I'm pretty sure that was the day I became a serious sketch card collector. She has done 2 sets with 5finity and is working to get on some mainstream sets. Of course, I wish her the best and have already reserved an AP
