Well I disagree. I think getting costume cards for the show is probably difficult considering how much work goes into them. I don't think HBO and the shows producers are all that willing to give them up to be cut up and put into cards. I think Rittenhouse has always done a good job of getting the shows/movies main cast to sign cards that are on-card, something that not many companies can do. I also like the fact that the cards match last seasons set so that you can put them together while looking seamless. My only concern is how many people they got to sign for this set. Outside of that, I think it looks like they did a good job.

dont rule out sketch cards, they told me they were going to have them and that was about 3 weeks ago. Im not sure if that plan changed recently or what. You got to give Rittenhouse credit for getting the majority of the cast to sign, and they got the names they missed from Season 1 . This is the best show on television in my opinion and i look forward to collecting the master set.
I've just asked them again about sketch cards, I'll post here when i have an answer. |

I like this new season set much more than the first. Considering the repeat of top autos and getting Dinklage in the mix (rather than incentive) is worth a case gamble. The relic cards should sell well if they are as tough as the Shadowbox cards at about 1 in 3 boxes. Sketch cards will just add to the value.
IMHO, VinnyH

Definitely in for some boxes. I just hope they do not decide last minute again to do the "border" and "fullbleed" because that was annoying.
Hope to get a Sibel Kekilli (Shae) & Dinklage auto.

According to an article in NSU magazine it says there will be sketches in the set. I also came across some works in progress posted by Charles Hall, it doesnt mention Game of Thrones but you can tell its on Rittenhouses card stock and I think the sketches speak for themselves.

I knew Charles Hall was a big name in the sketch community but, WOW, they are beautiful. And they're not even finished.

if there are to be sketches in this set, awesome news. that alone makes up for a lot. i still can't forgive oversaturation of autos and case incentives, sry.
nevertheless, it would be nice if there was a chance at an auto/costume card. asking too much? |

I'm pretty sure that artists aren't allowed to do characters though. I've seen some from another artist, and there were no character sketches as with the Hall sketches in this thread.

I loved the first set, and the 2nd set looks awesome too. . . I hope they do 2 versions of each auto like last time. . .
