I opened a box today, and I'm at a total loss for who the artist is. I looked though the cryptozoic images on here and checked their website, but I still got nothing. Is anyone out there familiar with the artists and able to potentially identify if I post a pic?

Did you happen to see the sketch that sold for $127???? And Scott Houseman from my friend sold for $113. Dang.

No offense to those who didn't buy because the top two signers didn't sign, but imo this was a blast to bust and an easy break even imo.

Hello everyone, my name is Brian DeGuire and I'm a new member here on Blowout Cards. I had the pleasure of contributing sketch cards on this set.
I did 40 pack inserted cards and here is a look at my returns.

I've also worked on a number of other sets (mostly Star Wars ones).
I'll post some info and images in a separate art thread.

Hope everyone is pulling good cards on the Archer set.
It was a really fun set to work on.....and a good excuse to watch the first few seasons on DVD!

Do we know how many sketch cards each artist did? I know we've been lucky enough to have some of the artists post here and tell us, but I was wondering if maybe there was a full list out?

There are 58 artists so each artist did about 62 sketches give or take.
So if the average number of sketch cards per artist is 62 it could range anywhere from about 30 to 90 cards each.

I think 30 is considered "rare" because Mason Easley only did 30 and he has a * star next to his name in the official checklist.

So far Scott Houseman and Brian DeGuire have posted here saying they only did 40 (+4 AP's) each.

^ Also JAMWAH had 8 AP's which means he did 80 pack-inserted sketch cards

has anyone else found any Adam Toews sketches yet? He is the lead illustrator on the show. I just hit one of his in one of my box breaks today, Even though it is of Nikolai Jakov, i don't recall seeing anyone pull any of his yet. Wondering how rare some of these sketch artists are that work on the show.

Ive had the most fun opening these boxes then I've had in any other non sports set...

Default Adam Toews

I have opened three cases and have one Adam Toews card. It is of Sterling and it is pretty cool. I have not seen any of his cards show up for sale anywhere. I have been waiting for these cards to come out forever it seems and I have had no experience with sketch cards before. I am now a huge fan of them. Very cool art that I can display without taking up a whole wall. I have already collected 75+ sketch cards and plan on rotating them in a display on my desk. This is my first post and I am not very computer savvy or I would post an image of the card. Maybe I'll have one of my teenagers help me.

I have read on here that there are maybe 300 cases produced. Is there a way to confirm that into a hard number? I would love to know what is out there in the universe of Archer sketch cards as well.

That sounds really amazing! A scanner would be the way to go in order to share pictures of the sketch cards. In the mean time you can always take a picture with your phone or camera, if that's easier for you. Even if it's just the ones you like the most or seem the most hard to pull. Until you can get the scanning part down =) This is also the first time I've collected sketch cards and it's really exciting. I've only got 12 cards, but looking to add more to my collection.

Do you plan on keeping all of the sketch cards you have? Or are there certain sketch artists that you are missing and want to trade for? Good luck with getting pictures up. I'm real curious to see what you pulled.

FWIW 30 is generally the smallest amount of sketch cards you can do for Cryptozoic without making special arrangements.

I know at least the Archer illustrators had the option of making 14 cards (2 AP). I think many of us took that option. (Hi, I'm Victoria. I was a s4 illustrator on Archer.)
