Default Is Mars Attacks a Good Rip right now at $320 per case?

Any opinions? Want to break my first non-sports case. Do you think this will get me a good return? Thanks.

Also, how many sets should I expect to receive per case?

Haven't Checked in a good bit, so not sure what they are selling for. But IMO some if the laziest 10 seconds pencil sketches I have seen came out of this product.

Before I get bashed, yes some great sketches were in these, but the bad is REALLY bad.

On a case for $320, might be worth a shot.

I can't answer your set question as my lazy butt hasn't sorted the 2 cases I opened yet.

I did very well with my 2 hit-wise. You generally get some colored sketches and mostly non-colored sketches. You will have a couple not so great sketches per case. I hit a Tim Proctor and got $175 for it.

Golds sold pretty well for me ($20-25 per). I still haven't tried to sell my green sets and silvers yet.

1 case had a plate and 1 had a Len Brown auto--those sell pretty well ($60-110).

I finally listed my 3-D sets and have done very nicely with those. I'm getting around $16 shipped for the 5-card sets. You get 3-4 sets of those per case, depending on collation.

The nice thing is this isn't an every year kind of set, so people are still buying the non-hits. Obviously, it's not quite as hot as before, but I like it at that price personally.

Default No.

Good return? Depends on how you view a loss of 70 - 80%. Honestly, I love Mars Attacks and had fun opening my cases but a typical case has 6 worthless sketch cards, 1 ok sketch and 1 decent sketch. A decent sketch will go for 35$ on eBay. Heres the value of a case:

Sketch Cards: 100
Gold Cards: 50
Len Brown Auto: 29.00
Printing Plate: 19.00

I think you will never get both a Len Brown auto and a printing plate in the same case.

Probably only 1 in 10 chance of breaking even.

While I agree that it is not a profitable rip, you really need to do a better check on finished prices.

Len Brown autos sell for at least $50 and up to $130
I will buy every plate you can find from this set at $19 because you can get between $100-$200 each.

You got horrible sales on your Brown and plates IMO. I got $115 for my plate and $75 for my auto.

Add in the silvers and the subsets and I think you can still do okay without a home-run sketch.

It's better than your average sports case, that's for damn sure.

you can blame some of the dealers on ebay for slaughtering this wonderful release...hopefully they will sell out of product...but, I believe it's dead and buried for years to come.

Sorry the $19 and $29 are the expected value based on 1 case. Since you won't get a Printing Plate every case it only adds a fraction of its total value to the case value.

Yuuup. One of them post on here and he also helped slaughter another release.

I actually still have probably 10 cases worth of MAH singles - including inserts. I get so busy with other stuff, and never get back to it.

Hell, I did the same thing to GPK a Brand new Series. I think I'm still sitting on 12+ cases worth on singles and inserts.
