I got to watch you painting some of your Greatest Battles cards, and have to say it was very cool! I was impresed by how much detail went into your cards, and it was interesting to see how you added shadowing and how you made some of the colors vary in darkness in various parts of the costumes to make them more realistic. I will definitely have to check out some more webcasts by you and other artists in the future!

I heavily agree with aggie4ever. I've been lurking and watching ... I've caught two of your sketch casts live and have to say that it's really mesmerizing watching you guys work. Awesome work! Keep it up and thanks for sharing those creation moments with us!

How do you feel about this set as opposed to say Bronze Age, or Batman?

Thanks Guys, appreciate that. I like themes in sketch cards, makes it a little easier to conceptualize layouts and composition but that also makes them more detailed and take a bit more time than expected sometimes. I still have 25 cards to color for shipping tomorrow so I'll be up late and up early. I hope to wittle the stack down so I only have 10 or so tomorrow so I can also finalize details on costumes and I have to sign all the cards. I managed to finish about 25-30 cards today so so far so good but I'm late by 2 days. Probably have to pay for overnight shipping so they'll be in hand by Friday. Yeah it's fun watching others work . I just wish most would lower the can or zoom in a bit. My cam height is set for doing larger art like sketch covers. Man the bow in th cards needs to be flattened out a bit. Gonna have to lay all the cards out and do what I do to flatten em back down. Thanks again for coming by.

Thanks and which piece? The fett or the 2 card AP? The 2-card AP is a paid for commission and the Fett is just something i wanted to do. The Fett will be for sale when finished. But if you mean the iron man psc, no it's just for demonstration

I have about 250 assorted AP's from Rittenhouse uncut to Upperdeck and Breygent and Cryptozoic and others. Right now it's easier for me to draw and sell than commission out but as I do have time I may rethink selling a few of the Cryptozoic Batman or Rittenhouse uncuts. I think I have 35 Rittenhouse blank AP's.

awesome, can't wait to see it finished. how did that 2 card ap come out?

few questions for ya justice: do you like to use a variety of media depending on the sketch or the mood you are in? do you ever use oil paint? how do you feel about artists just seem to only use marker?

Markers seem quick but unless you have a skilled hand it mostly looks like it was done with markers instead of a painted piece. I'll use whatever medium i want at any given time. I've airbrushed painted in acrylics watercolor gouache pencils colored pencils inkwash, whatever it takes. This will be my first oil painting in a long time but what better to try it out on than disposable art. Whatever others feel comfortable using is cool with me but branching out will help them broaden the scope of potential collectors of their work.
