brent,

Incarnadine is probably one of the more knowledgeable posters on the board when it comes to the artists. maybe he will chime in. i was only going by the number of sketches the artist did as to wether it was a good pull or not. if you do a search for threads with heroes in the title you will see one started by otmack2o with about 9 pages in it. on page 4 is info that Incarnadine has compiled stating the # of sketches the artists did. you will see out of about 40-50 artists only about 10 had sketches numbered 100 or less. so i think those are decent pulls.

holy cow! i just looked at that website where the forum is all the artists and their cards, DANG some are so detailed & colorful, now i really don't like mine, LOL

all kidding aside some are terrific if you have the time to see all the scans, there are a couple of BIG nice colorful claries and some nice shadow effects

Now I have them all uploaded. Help with artists would be appreciated.
Randy Martinez - tough pull, he only did 56 as far as I know
Craig Rousseau- no number for him but he usually does a fair number
???- Too blurry for me too see the signature
William O'Neill- no numbers
Tom Hodges- 141
Sean Pence- That one is big. He did 175 but his sketches fetch a premium because he always does incredible work. As detailed as that sketch is it is typical of his quality.

I have been wondering where you have been all day. I did manage to find out who all the artist were. I listed them all and got a great response on the Claire done by Pence. Turns out that was a bigger pull than I thought. I just sold it off ebay for $300!!!!
I talked to Andrew and did some research on his sketches and it looks as though his Star Wars 30th and Rings Sketches bring $275-350 so I think I did well.
I hope the Martinez sells well as he is so SP'd.
Overall I ended up with
Craig Rousseau
Ingrid hardy
Tom Hodges
Joseph Booth
Noah Albrecht
Randy martinez
Sean Pence SOLD FOR $300!

AMAZING...topps gives these guys $1.50 each, and they sell this high...i realize the artists must love it and the exposure but man sell some off line or more customs on the bay!!

True they only get $1.50 per sketch but they also get to pick 6 of their own sketches to keep and sell themselves and they generally put in extra effort on those 6. For example, that Mark McHaley sketch I posted that the artist got Hayden to sign is currently at $660!

Upper Deck does it a bit differently, they only pay a measly $1 per sketch but then send the artists 10 blamk "Artist proof" sketch cards to do with as they will. For marvel Masterpieces the regular sketch cards are blue but all those red sketches you see on ebay right now are artists personal 10.
