No, I am sorry you did not do okay. That is a crap sketch card. Maybe a $5 card if you are lucky.

Guy bought three packs of cards and hit a sketch. Jesus Christ, not everything has to be a million dollar Katie Cook. He could've bought three packs and hit nothing, or bought the whole box and hit that sketch.

For three packs, you got a hit and had fun. That's a great day at the LCS, in my estimation.

if you bought the whole damn box, that still would have been the only sketch you pulled. you paid for 3 packs and pulled the sketch. awesome! don't buy anymore until a fresh box is out

My guess is that the sketch would be a $15 seller online. Not great, but for three packs that were most likely bought at a discount, you can't beat it.

No, not interested in that crap at all. It is not a one of one sketch. The artists did numerous ones that look just like it. Many have hit ebay since the set's original release.

There is a growing "underground" community that buys crap cards erases them, has new art put onto them and then trades and resells to one another. Some of them may give you $15 shipped for it. However, I am stickin' with $5.

A question about the cards worth was asked and I replied. I went for the monetary worth not the emotional worth or value one might get for buying 3 packs and pulling that card. If I were to rate the emotional worth or value of such an incident... WORTHLESS.

WTF is the obsession with Katie Cook cards on this board. No sh*t not every card has to be a Katie Cook. I am glad that was pointed out. It had never dawned on me.

I'm guessing most of the katie cook fans are actually my little pony fans aka bronies. But yeah in regards to the ops new sketch. It's a $5 sketch, may be able to get $25 on ebay.. who knows.

Not sure where in this post it says "What is the value of the sketch card I pulled?"

It does say "I bought 3 packs and hit a sketch, did I do ok?" The answer to that question is "Yes" regardless of the quality of sketch that he hit. If he hit a Katie Cook (who I guess is the standard for a hit here) then the answer would have been "No you didn't do okay, you did ridiculously well and it will all be downhill from here. Quit while you're ahead."
