I got two in the mail today and the third is coming tomorrow. Unfortunately, I won't pick up my mail until tomorrow night so I have to wait.

Here are the goods. John McCrea sketch. I really like how the sketches are in the tray.

I also hit John McCrea. Like everyone else, I was hoping for some Ted goodness (and had to take a shot because of the great odds... 1 in 7 chance for 4 painted sketch cards by Ted???) My other top choices were Gary Kezele and Sean Pence, so no luck on my top picks. But the McCrea puzzle is actually very nice:

Good luck to everyone else who has one on the way!

Both really nice McCreas. All of his Mars Attacks sketches and even the artist returns for him were true black and white. So these with red are cool.

I am excited to receive my two Blue Books today. The packaging and artwork is very high end for the book.

My sketches are two from Chris Mason. I really like the top one and am happy with it. I don't need two from the same artist so I will consider offers on the Martian close-up sketch!

There's a group of mine on eBay right now, the seller is asking $250 each!

I would have made a good offer on that Bloody Sunday one, but $250 is a little steep.

I think he could get around $200 for the Ted sketches, but starting bidding at $250 is going to be a tough sell.

They already went through the Ebay cycle once, and were re-listed at the same opening price.

Free to list them over and over again. Personally, I wouldn't lower my price after just a week, especially a big vacation week.

On an unrelated note... for those of you that enjoy working directly with the artists and commissioning APs, like I do. Apparently no blanks/ or returns given as payment for this set. Just decent pay for the work they did. What is this world coming to?

My 1 Red Book came in. Upped everybody's odds. No Nar or Hall. Looks like its Dan Duncan.

Sorry tone--that's a pretty rough sketch for what these sold for.

Not bad.

So, my package from IDW Limited showed up this afternoon (UPS just left it at my apartment door). I had to run home from work and take the books inside, and then take the time to open 1 of them before going back to work. An ok sketch, but definitely not one of the ones I hoped to hit from the previews:

Apricot Mantle (who did 25 sketches)

Of course, I couldn't go back to work with 3 sealed books still calling to me, so I opened another one:

NAR! (who did 10 sketches)

My first NAR! pull, and what an amazing sketch it is! Can't wait to get off work and open the other 2 books, but now I guess it really doesn't matter what else I pull.

Congrats Aggie! Great pull. It's truly an amazing sketch. I can't wait to get my book, but for some reason it isnt schedule to deliver until next Monday even though it shipped last week....strange.
