Default New Mars Attacks Sketch Cards coming from IDW Limited

Some news for my fellow Mars Attacks fans:
IDW Limited is releasing a new Mars Attacks Limited Hardcover and included in these limited books wil be new Mars Attacks sketch cards!
Artists working on sketch cards include:
Charles Hall
Jeff Zapata
Tim Proctor
Miran Kim
Chris Mason
NAR!

That's right, sketch card legend NAR! is doing Mars Attacks sketch cards!
How awesome is that?!

The sketch cards will be available in two differant tiers:

$125 Red (1 sketch card, deluxe hardcover book in traycase, signed by Layman & McCrea. (250 copies available)
$400 Blue (4 sketch cards, deluxe hardcover book in traycase, signed by Layman & McCrea. (50 copies available)

Some of the Blue Tiers will be puzzle sketch cards.
Here's an example from Chris Mason:

And here's a Red Tier example from Charles Hall:

Presales for these will probably start in April so start saving your allowance now!
Check out IDW Limited Home for news and also follow their twitter and facebook pages for updates. There's links for both on the idwlimited.com home page.
Any more news I find out or any new sketch cards that are preview I will post here as soon as possible.
I'll also keep this thread updated when presales start.

If any artists on the forum are working on this set hopefully they can chime in too.

Would be really cool if fellow forum member Ted Dastick was on the set

I recently meet through emails a very cool guy at IDW that was nice enough to share this information with me. I believe he is planning on joining BO soon.

Hey guys! I'm the Community Manager for IDW Limited. Glad you're excited about the set, and Jason it's great to have you on board.

We'll be previewing cards at least once a week in the lead-up to this release. If you have questions, I'm here.

I couldn't find it either - don't think it's listed yet... However, I almost spent a crap load on the TMNT stuff. It's my weakness.

Any chance you can reveal the number of cards NAR completed?

NAR is doing 10 cards for the set. He had a pretty full workload and that was the maximum he could agree to.

10! I was expecting something in the 1-3 range. He only had 1 original sketch pack inserted in Marvel Premier (actually it was a redemption I think). That, and he did the print artwork for the "emotions" booklets.

I think 10 shots at a NAR Mars Attacks sketch will be considered very good odds by some.

Yeah, that just piqued my interest for sure. Hopefully I have some money together by the time these go on sale

We'll also release full card-counts for each artist shortly. Just making sure everyone's locked in.

Fantastic line-up Nate!
Hall, Pence, Kezele, Proctor, Dastick.
It's like the Mars Attacks Allstars.

Really looking forward to seeing some examples from George Webber and Chris Uminga.

Vey interested in this as well. Do have a question about the two Tiers. Are artists doing equal amouts per Tier or are the artists doing either Tier 1 or Tier 2. For example, the 10 sketches by NAR, are they all Tier 1 sketches or did he do both Tiers. Thanks.

All artists are doing all their cards in one tier on this project. So, Nar's 10 will all be in the Red Label. I'll break down exact #'s for artists in the next two weeks.

These look nothing like Uminga's style of art. Hope I don't pull one of these.
