I think there are 3 or 4 Bee Beard cards I've seen so far from artists. They are all pretty cool.

Oh crap, its gonna be the Spellcasters voodoo hare all over again!

I realize I'm the only one that thinks that is funny, but I don't feel like explaining it Needless to say, fights are breaking out over this Dastick guy's stuff left and right. I hear Viceroy is getting $2000 a piece for Ted Dastick commissions.

By the way... If you guys were to check the Non-Sport Update Magazine blog tomorrow morning, you might find some additional information about the Carnival set.

It's East Coast morning when they update, so not that far. Maybe like 7-8 hours! It's not that big of a thing anyways, don't worry about it.

Like the Space Sculpture cards, this set will contain mini Flea Circuses!

Hey guys it's me and it's morning! The big news is that Stephen King has written and released a book called "Joyland" dedicated to Viceroy's Carnival set. It's about shy bosses, their shies and the doghouses they rest in!

Do you see what happens when you don't deliver, NSU? I make up my own news!

"Earlier this month, we posted Viceroy Card Company’s Carnival sales sheet with details about the company’s premium packs sketch card series. The sales sheet teased “at least two additional random insert cards.” Today, we know a bit more about one of them. “We have a signed letter from P.T. Barnum that will be the main chase/hit for the Carnival set ” says Viceroy owner Ryan Fields. One very lucky collector will find a special redemption card inserted into their box exchangeable for the full framed piece of memorabilia shown below.

While other companies may have cut Barnum’s signature to create a cut-signature card, Fields felt it was important to keep the document intact. “We don’t ever want to destroy a historic document just for the sake of a cut autograph trading card. If an autograph is on an index card or something similar, and trimming the sides does not cause the loss of any historic elements, then we’re open to that option. However, we’re very much against cutting out signatures from signed letters or documents, especially when the rest of the handwriting on the document is by the subject himself” says Fields.
The lucky recipient will get the document framed and well preserved. The odds of finding the redemption card will be one in 660, or equal to one in 66 cases, if the product is purchased by the case. Instructions for redemption will be included on the card and the P.T. Barnum piece is in hand and ready to ship. Those odds sound pretty good to us! Best of luck everyone."

Sweet! That's an awesome item to be able to have as a redemption. I hope it's in my case if this second wave ever happens!

I'm not a huge fan of redemptions (ya know, Americans, instant gratification, I wanted my buffalo flash fried in under 17 seconds, etc) but I super appreciate that the document will remain intact! That is a stellar idea!

Almost every sports card manufacturer. They use redemption cards for items they intend to get, even though they may never get them, instead of the way they should be used, like this, for items too big to fit in packs.

It's the expiration dates that bother me ... sure, I understand if your company could become insolvent that you'd be off the hook. But it kind of feels like the difference between "someone may win $1,000,000" versus "someone will win $1,000,000" in those product contests. They don't actually intend to give out that cash and have bought insurance against it. Likewise, a lot of the card companies just plan on reusing the cards that don't get redeemed ... I'll bet the major players have statistics so they can better predict their stocks of unredeemed cards and this makes mail in redemptions all the more tempting.

Viceroy even managed to pack out sculptures on the last run ... only when it's a large artifact do they resort to this.
