Why can't you torture me like most of the other sketch card companies who just include subpar sketches in overpriced products?!

Updated the first post with a sell sheet and release date: June 28th, 2013. Pre-order date announced soon! We're waiting to hear when Blowout will begin taking pre-orders on the set. SolarFly will begin this Thursday at 9pm Eastern time via their site.

Anybody else having trouble creating an account at solarfly cards? I tried for an hour, and nothing I tried worked. Since there the only place now to get Viceroy Carnival release its pretty frustrating. I would like to not miss the presell like I did for Space. Any advice?

Carnival will also be sold right here, on Blowout Cards. They simply haven't announced their pre-order date yet. Send an email to: SALES@SOLARFLYCARDS.COM if you're having issues with an account setup. You can also order without an account, and it won't affect your pre-order status.

I was able to create a account SolarFly thankfully.

Is their a limit on how much you can buy at Solarfly?

Wasn't expecting a Late June release thought it be a little later but glad it's coming that early. Also Like that the preorder and release date are so close.

I believe it will be up to 6 packs, or 1 case per order. If you want to order more than 6 packs, it bumps you to a case. They also may be doing more than 1 pre-order window for those that miss the first one, but I'm not entirely sure on that as of this moment.

Blowout will also have pre-orders up at some point.

Edit: Matt from SolarFly confirmed they'll be doing 2 waves of pre-orders. Most will be during the first wave, with the rest during a second wave for those who missed out.

Glad to finally see a presale date and release date, but definitely wish the presell for Solarfly wasn't so close. I'll be in Disney at the time pre sell goes live. Will have to see if I have extra money to purchase so soon.

Will Solarfly be selling cases as well or just packs? (Edit-just saw your above response) But how many packs in a case?

And is there any word on if they'll be receiving more product? Or when what they put up sells out it's gone for good?

10 packs per case for Carnival. They are getting about 33% of the product run to begin with. We're holding back some allotment just to make sure all the sketches come in from international artists. Once we have the expected 660 total sketches for 660 packs, we'll adjust it upwards, and they'll be able to offer more product later on.

Also just as a heads up... our production runs will steadily increase over time. Cryptids was 500, Space 600, Carnival 660. The next two will be approximately 750. After that Cryptids Series 2 and Space Series 2 will be over 750. Any licensed sets we do during that timeframe will be in the neighborhood of 1000 packs or more, depending on the packaging format we choose for those.

Ok sweet!

So I'll probably pass on this Thursday presell and cross my fingers they get some more in stock and preorder a case then.

Maybe I'll have some extra spending cash though which I hope

Edit: so looking at about $269 for a case?

I think they are giving a small price break at the case level, along with the free shipping.

Has it been announced yet what the insert cards will be?

Edit: that's great. Can't beat a case discount AND free shipping.

Not yet, soon. We wanted to have all the details first. We might be trying something a bit new, so we just want to make sure everything is set before announcing anything.

So far for sure there will be the 8 printing plates and 8 printing plate negatives, similar to the Space release. The other stuff we'll announce later on. They'll be cool though, no worries. No autos in this one since there aren't many relevant Carnival figures currently working that would be worth a great deal. We did try to get a PT Barnum auto for a cut signature card, but it's hard to find his signature that would fit nicely in a card, look good, and not blow the budget. Plus I hate the idea of cutting up antique documents just for the sake of a card, so it'd have to be an auto on an index card like paper, or already cut.
