Default Fully Dressed Superheroines

Read this article today, short text and a few pics. I don't think they're pushing for puritanical laws -- more so exploring how inseparable the exposed skin is from female characters.

I really like the Zatanna and Power Girl, but there's something a bit off about Wonder Woman's slacks, maybe need a different style, absolutely need to be a different color. All in all, nice redesigns!

Let's be real, though, it's not like the guys aren't also generally wearing super-tight outfits

I think the concept and the illustrations are really interesting and pose an interesting view... in fact, I'd be cool with most of those costumes. Except of course for Wonder Woman. I agree, those slacks are weird.

The one that clearly doesn't work, though, is Vampirella. Her sex appeal is an integral part of her character. That would be like asking Elvira to cover up her cleavage.

... I guess its equal-opportunity humiliation... the females have to wear skimpy outfits, the males don't get crotches.

And if Rob Liefeld is drawing them, they don't get feet, either!
