Yeah, it's too bad RA limited how the artists could use the additional space. Unless an artist intended for their cards to be interchangeable, they are going to stay paired up for good...

but maybe I'll list the card I got it box in separate auctions just to screw with bidders and experience the backlash

To my eye it seems like MarvelMasters, K&J and Bushkill are doing what they normally do for these releases. It looks like Yuriy has discounted a bit faster than before but I'd say that's more down to lessons learned from MBA and waiting to do a bigger sale didn't seem to help MBA until it was over 40% (that's how it seemed to me).

You could probably ask him, he's normally quite up front about these things.

I don't have anything to ask him. I was just saying that it seemed "to my eye" that he is putting his intentory on sale, faster than normal. Of course, he is being forced to do so. This is my point.

I was just checking my lists and noticed something interesting. I had 43 MGB cards on my watch list, most I put on the first 2 days cards were listed. Only 2 have ended and those were the ones I bought.

And most of those are now 20% off.

My only problem with Marvel-Masters is the price of his Ghost Rider sketches started going up after I bought a bunch last year That's just being a good businessman, I can't fault him for that.

He has been doing this for years, you guys weren't around for the Phoenix wars. He has a real good eye for the things that make certain sketches more valuable than others. Sometimes it is the character, sometimes the skill of the artist, sometimes the amount of detail.

After very little though I've decided my idea to trim a 5x7 toploader to fit these cards side by side was genius. Aided by the fact that I can fit four of them into a custom binder page makes me think I really need to find 3 more I absolutely must have

Very nice--I just went with the bobo binder solution:

Here is my only Marvel's Greatest Heroes pick up so far. I couldn't wait any longer and had to pick it up.

You are a braver man than I am. I just can't bring myself to not put them in something to prevent me from bending them by accident. I was keeping them in toploaders in a card box but I really wanted the browsing convenience that a binder offers. Plus I'm starting to sort my RA cards with the rest of the set in the binders. Looking to pick up a couple binders at the Philly Show and organize the rest that way. It will make them easier for my nieces and nephews to sell when I croak.

Of course this method also makes me want to pick up sketches in multiples of six! Can't have any blank spots

After living in condition paranoia storing and selling baseball Bowman Chrome prospect cards, sketch cards are relatively robust so I felt comfortable with the binders. I don't like the color change that the toploaders can cause, so I prefer them to be a naked as is reasonable

As good an artist this guy is I hate the fact all his artwork is copied. Hell he even swiped on of my pieces from Deviantart which i got on his case about. It's one thing to do a few homages but he does entire sets of swiped artwork.

Here is a great example of you just poking back....oh wait, sorry this is just another example of you instigating and trolling with no provocation....You can always tell by the overuse of smiley faces

You collect Squirrel Girl trading cards and use smiley faces like you get a royalty off each one. Don't flatter yourself.

Wait a second. You are an intolerant bigot who still uses homosexuality as an insult?

Yikes.

Good luck with that, I will pray for you.

Wow! Who said it was an insult to be homosexual??? You're the only one to put a negative connotation on homosexuality. I just said that my Mom isn't into repressed homosexuals. Is it also an insult for her to be straight? Sounds like I landed one a little close to home??

I really like this card from the MGB set:

The more cards I see, the more I am convinced that it is the constant traditional style and proportions that make the set seem so mundane.

I think the Hulk looks pretty cool, but the style definitely doesn't work for The Thing. It makes him look like a mutated tiger.
