Default Mickey Mouse Drawing---Check it Out

Hey I've had this drawing for a while now. It was actually drawn in front of my parents by the author. I guess he is suppose to be a famous artist from Walt Disney. If anyone knows who this is and what it maybe worth please let me know. Any help is appreciated. Can't really tell who the author is, from looking at the auto it looks like his last name is Neil? I think his first name looks like Milt? I'm not sure...here's a few pictures. Thanks.

A quick Google found this...guess it does read "Milt Neil"

In Memoriam: Milt Neil

Thanks, I actually saw that I had the author name right, didn't know if he was still alive or not. Do you know what things like this are typically worth?

No idea on value. The only thing is, I think it's an odd looking Mickey Mouse. He looks like he's wearing "mom jeans." It is far from the iconic image of Mickey Mouse. He's just kind of generic. However, I guess that could also make it more unique.

Yeah I don't think he was drawing Mickey Mouse too often. I think he drew other characters but just was drawing what people where asking him too. Either way he's not doing any more drawings so I think it'll fetch more than I think even though I probably would not get rid of this.

Lol, maybe that's why Mickey Mouse looks funny

It's very cool and I just remembered I had it because I've been expanding into non-sports cards and baseball more than my Football/Basketball only approach. I like to open new things so I thought I'd see if I had anything.

I guess next Monday when my case of Indiana Jones KOTCS(ordered Friday but get's here the following Monday) gets here I'll find out how that is. But at $109.95 for the case atleast I won't lose too much.

There's got to be more people that know about Disney and things like that right? Any help on value would be appreciated.

While I know nothing about this specific artist or pose I do know that they regularly have well known artists at various Disney stores and parks that do similar drawings 'live' in front of you (they typically also have stacks of pre-drawn work as well). These are typically priced at around $30.

Yes. I've been to Disney World twice in the past 3 years and they do this at a few parks, specifically Hollywood Studios(MGM)

I do think it was quite pricey though.

My dad had some of neil's original artwork from Fantasia, but sold them at a comic book convension in San Francisco ages ago. you could prob get $25-$40 for that Piece, Depending on who's buying it.

Cool piece! But aside from that, I can't really help much with it.

Huge disney person here. Typically the on site artist drawings do not have much of a resell unless you hit it big with someone who was unknown only to become known. Milt's drawings typically sell for $10-15 a piece ($5-$12 on feebay). Being that it is Mickey you may get $20
