Just be ready for sellers from the sports card side to rip and flip these and list the Green PMG of Spider-Man for $50,000. I guess the 8/10 card will be an ebay 1/1 since spiders have 8 legs

I am probably down for one box of these. Anything I get I will more than likely keep. So not making any money of off it is not a problem for me.

The inserts are all based on very popular 90s basketball inserts. I used to have a jambalaya Rodman card and it brought like $300 at the time. I think I may buy a case and hold onto it. Marvel Premier is very hard to find under $300 a box now so maybe this will hold some of the same type of value.

I collect mostly non-sports but also very specific baseball and hockey cards -- I just don't know the sports sets very well. Anyway I purchased a "1/1" hockey card on ebay but it was actually numbered 19/99 ... so I asked him what was up and he said it was because that's the player's jersey number and that's the only card with the jersey number matching the serial number ... *SIGH*

This could be a really bad question, but when they say autographs, do they mean artist/writer autographs?

Yeah, they mean artist/writer autographs. Hopefully they include stan Lee.

Ugh, I don't get why people do that. I would definitely return it.

If you ever need help with hockey cards, that's all I really collect and would happy to help you out if you ever need it.

Ah I appreciate the offer but really it was purchased in haste and out of ignorance. I thought they might have a 1/1 gold foil parallel of the patch that was on the card. In the end I paid $8 for a $4 so net loss for learning lesson: $4. Oh well, live and learn

At least I got to send him a response back asking if he had the 1/1 card with serial number 77 as I was pretty sure that was the player's favorite number. No response.

Of course, the seller wouldn't leave me positive feedback until I had left him positive feedback and all that jazz.

It was the only one that was marked 19/99 I guess the sports cards would have listed all the MP base cards as 1/1

Yes, they will be comic creators autos just like in the MB sets. They have gotten Stan Lee for the MB sets as well as IM3, so its very likely they will have him.

I know which makes me sad :/

Oh well, still may be worth getting a box since the old marvel metal was one of my favorite, and this is coming from a sports card guy.

I had uncut sheets from the paper mill when i was younger... dunno what ever happened to them ...my dad use to bring them home for me when he worked there.

I may have to buy a set off of eBay, because I like the retro design, but I just can't throw down $200 a box. Not unless the sketch cards and autos are selling for big bucks on eBay so I have some chance of recouping part of my money.

Thanks floater. I'll update the first post when I have a chance. Any idea what the significance is of the names highlighted in yellow?

I'm pretty disappointed to see Stan Lee absent from the comic signers list. Sketch artist line-up isn't spectacular either. A number of quality artists on that list, but missing some of the premier names they were able to get for Premier. Probably only break one box of this for sure.

Yeah, I'm very disappointed in the checklist too. I'm glad I didn't preorder a case of this. I might try a box too but that's it.

Someone needs to host a draft. 120 packs (per case) = 120 slots. $10, maybe $11 per slot.

I want to but you have to wait 90 days before it can be done with the Upper Deck agreement.

The Comic Creators autograph list sounds decent.

Is it possible to host it on another forum which does not sell UD products, or support UD? Like NSCF. Their just a forum. Completely different than BO.

Since BO is not an authorized internet retailer, you have to email them specifically for the price. Other sites already have the product available for pre-sale online... ~$190-200 per 10 pack box.
